Shadow slows and walks into her cave and curls up in corner. Shadow's eyes snap open hearing voices IN den and watches as they come inside and start grabbing her stuff "HEY!" Shadow yells and leaps up firing Pyco cuts at them, catching by surprise and causing them all to fall over. Shadow leaps again but this time the group of pokemon are ready

The group disbands, each going to their separate rooms. Hours later, Grovyle reported back, and took a while to recover. A meeting was called shortly after, and they all gathered to talk about the day

Dawn glanced around the table, and smirked "The meeting is started. First off, I don't think Shadow would be a good choice"

Grovyle sighed "I keep telling you Dawn. Give people a chance, or we'll never defeat Gallade

Dawn retorted "We need trust to keep this group running Grovyle. Not blind trust. Unless you have a good reason to trust Shadow, you shall remain silent."

Grovyle lowered his head ".... As you wish, Dawn"

"So, what are we going to do? I'm worried about the increased activity in the forest. Our base could be discovered." River spoke. He seemed a bit uncomfortable, but Dawn dismissed it "We'll have to increase the amount of patrols we do for now. Unless anybody has more news to share, this meeting is over"

Shadow growls furiously and uses night slash throwing a shadowy figure into the trees and uses crunch on another, ignoring the fury of moves being shot at her

Dawn headed outside with Grovyle, and growled "What was that all about, Grovyle?! That's the THIRD time this month that you've done it!"

Grovyle gulped ".... I'm sorry, Dawn. I didn-"

Dawn yelled "STOP! I'm done hearing your excuses, Grovyle! Leave my group, and stay away". Umbreon went back inside, and slammed the door shut

Grovyle flinched, and silently left the forest, saddened

Shadow uses flash causing her attacks to blink and scratch at wall "Ha!" Shadow uses pycic to make them go together and uses dig throwing them backwards, undoing flash and causing them to run back at her

Grovyle went to the edge of the forest, where he was ambushed by some of Gallades followers. He was carried off, attempting to break free

Shadow falls over on side and leaps up and runs "Great!" Shadow turns and blasts flash at them but most dodge, leaving one pokemon running in circles and wasting time, Shadow keep running until spots Grovyle. "Hey, drop him!" Shadow uses Dig and flings a pokemon holding him into a tree, not seeing the pokemon she was running from running at her

The group attacked Shadow, and disappeared. They brought Grovyle to Gallade, who smirked "Will you join me, Grovyle?"

The pokemon finally manage to swarm. "Get offa me!" Shadow screeches and clamps jaws shut on something and hears a scream of pain for a second before is thrown loose and head gets slammed into tree and head swims "Get off..." Shadow groans and passes out

Shadow wakes next to the tree. The sun was shinning. "Ow..." Shadow stands and looks around, spotting Grovyle. Shadow doesn't call out, guessing the rest of the group was near. Instead, backs away into cave, making a scuffing noise

Grovyle huffed, and jumped into the trees to look for some strong Pokemon Gallade would like. He explored the area for a couple hours, and huffed in annoyance when he didn't see anything

Grovyle finally gave up, and returned to Gallade to report his failure in the mission "Gallade, I have failed to recruit anybody for you... I'm terribly sorry about this"

Gallade frowns "Well I suppose it's not fully your fault, but I expected more. Have you not seen a shiny? If so I would enjoy that greatly." Gallade looks at him in eyes "Tomorrow you will try again. At dawn while they are asleep. I will have a Pokemon wake you then. Don't fail me again!" With that Gallade disappears

Shadow frowns "What was Grovyle doing in that tree?" She wonders out loud
