	Peridot stirred from his sleep, grumbling. "Yeah yeah, give it a rest," he answered groggy and still half-asleep. "I'm not as young as I used to be, you know." Peridot enters his room, closing the door behind him with a soft click. He set his bag and stone on the nightstand, collapsing into the bed to get some sleep.

His eyes closed, but he found it hard to actually get sleep - his mind racing from the disturbing news from earlier. The map pieces had been stolen? Who would have been brave enough to pull off such a thing without being detected?

Something about it didn't sit right with him, but he pushed the thought out for the time being.

Peridot reaches out to pick up the key with 204 engraved on the surface and holds it securely in his paw. He glanced briefly at the other two. "Well, I guess I'll be seeing you both later today. I'm off to get some sleep."

He padded away towards the stairs, raising his head slightly as he got closer to an open door. A faint pulsing light could be seen through the crack, and Peridot paused to peek through. He could see a bushy, cream-colored tail belonging to a red canine.

Peridot gazed at Midspire in the distance with a somber gaze, his expression masked by the faint light.

"Midspire," he breathed out carefully, stopping momentarily. "Been a while since I was last here. I wonder if the Thirsty Maractus is still around..."

He shook his head, continuing to walk forward. "Come. We can still make it on time, and I'm looking forward to getting some rest."

"I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested in having Echo tag along," Peridot replied with a chuckle. He looked around as well, taking a few minutes to study the crowd.

"But I'm aware he may not be interested, and that's okay. As a fellow rogue, I respect him enough not to press the matter," he added. "Have you any suggestions? - and no kids, please. I don't want to be responsible for them getting hurt."
