I've read your concerns regarding a recent incident, and I take them very seriously. The safety and well-being of our community are my top priorities.

I acknowledge that our response times could have been shorter, and for that, I apologize. As the head of staff, I want to assure you that the reported issue was taken seriously from the start. However, reviewing evidence and determining the appropriate steps can take a few hours, especially during busy periods such as yesterday's anniversary event release.

I want to address two key points:
- Warning others about potentially dangerous users is an important matter. I believe this should not be considered "naming and shaming," and I will discuss this internally with our moderators to ensure our policies reflect this understanding.
- I recognise that response times and moderation processes need improvement, and this is clearly my responsibility. As a solo dev, balancing my time between bug fixes, event releases, feature development, process optimisation, and staff management is challenging. However, I am always striving for the ideals we all share. Sometimes, improvements take time, but they will come. That's always the goal. I hope we can all move forward together on this path, as a community. :)

Last month, I set myself a new goal: learning Blender (3D modeling software) in my free time, just for fun. After creating two scenes based entirely on video tutorials, I attempted my first original scene from scratch. I'm excited to present to you: Caterpie in the Woods! I am actually quite proud of my creation and have now made it my desktop background 🙂‍↕️

With June now upon us, I've set a new goal for myself: learning how to create pixel art! Follow my journey and help me improve!

Speaking of events (apologies for the double post):

We recently held a legendary spriting contest where we announced there would be one winner. However, given the number of excellent entries, I would like to extend this to at least two winners, potentially even three.

So, I'd love your feedback on the following:

a) Should the second-best entry also be distributed in the future, even though we initially stated there would only be one winner in the contest thread? (I assure you, it is of excellent quality)

b) If we consider having three winners, would you prefer to see the potential third winner revealed first and have the community vote on whether it should become an event? Or would you rather trust my judgment (I believe it's a great and high-quality event) and be surprised by its reveal?

Well, turns out the feature update I was working on requires a bit more work than anticipated 😅 I'm only halfway done.

So I've decided to reschedule my plans and first prioritise the event, and to continue to work on the feature update in a few days. And the next event will be: The return of the Fun Fair! ... With a new Event Pokemon.

Also, small clarification based on some comments on my previous feed: By "feature update" I don't mean that there'll be a new feature but an update to an existing one. A highly demanded update, that is...
