I hate MLP Gen 5. Yk why? It’s because the characters were deliberately designed to trigger nostalgia to Gen 4 (Friendship is Magic) through how they act, and in Sparky’s and Izzy’s case, how they look. It doesn’t cause nostalgia, it just highlights how the writers are too lazy to create unique personalities. I mean, if you’ve introduced countless new ponies with an original personality in FiM, why can’t you do that in ANG/MYM as well?
