i feel like it was just yesterday i was 6, sitting down on the couch on a sunday morning eating my cereal watching the pilot
and now, 7 years later, i sit down on my couch on friday morning as i almost choke back tears (yes i have emotions im not a robot for all wondering)

explaining time
so i got home and heard my god-grandma’s dog of 13.5 (maybe 14) died today (human years)
when i was at her house last (it was a baby shower in like march) he was really skinny (like you could see his spine and rib cage through his skin) and really weak
i didn’t get all the details but i know it was complications due to old age
i never was his favorite person cuz he never really liked kids (my cousins there were young and like pulled his tail) but he was a cool dog nonetheless
it’s probably for the better (for him at least), he looked like he was in pain when i saw him (i hope that doesn’t make me sound like a sadist)
