"Ooh, old fishing spots?" He paused, tilting his head. His face was a blend of confusion and fear. "Get to them... unharmed? What's that supposed to mean? What could possibly harm anyone on the way to the fishing spots?"
He asked, both incredulous and curious. Meanwhile, Aegir's Jolteon had taken to stealing his drink after finishing his own.
Aegir didn't notice the very obvious shuffling towards the counter, nor did he notice his drink vanishing from his table. Even if he had noticed, he would've forgotten by the next second. He had the memory of a Goldeen.

His eyes widen, and he shifts back a little farther in his seat. Tapu Bulu? He remembered such a name in his childhood... faintly, though. Whatever, it mustn't be anything important. Just some random deja vu. He shook his head violently, curls whipping around with the sudden movement.
"What? Why'd he leave? Who's Nanu? I've got too many questions!" He exclaimed, questions going out rapid-fire. He was struggling to process all of this information!
Sparky had finished drinking all of Aegir's drink, and was now nudging the glass back up the table.

She leaned forward.
"We don't know why he left. He disappeared one night at the same time as the other Kahuna's. That was when the Tapu's started to attack us instead of protecting us."

"Him and all the other Kahunas? At the same time? Have you guys called the police or... or something?" He forgot what he was supposed to say, teal eye sparkling yet again. "Well - we should do something, shouldn't we? Go out and look for him?"
Sparky zapped him gently. His memory of what was said before returned.
"Oh! Oh, yeah, Tapu Bulu..." he shrugged. "I can handle him," he said... sarcastically. "For sure,"
Sparky shot him a frightened look, as if pleading with Aegir not to send him out to fight Tapu Bulu. "Uh, in all seriousness, though... shouldn't we do something about his disappearance? Actually, all of their disappearances? Something's really wrong!"

Aegir looked around the tavern, then back to Leilani.
"...Can't these other trainers help out? They seem... pretty strong."
Sparky nodded in agreement, bobbing his head up and down almost exaggeratedly.
He heard Angelo begin to speak, and he chuckled. "What, no, don't worry. I was being sarcastic. I couldn't beat Tapu Bulu even if my Pokemon were immortal!" His chuckle broke into a laugh, "I wouldn't be able to beat him even if he was blindfolde..." the thought immediately slipped out of his mind, and he forgot what he was saying. His expression returned to something that appeared to be aloof.
What was I saying? I swear I was talking about something. Nevermind.

"Well, we've got to do something somehow, right?" He added, turning back to Leilani. "Maybe the other travelers can help out and search for him? If they want to, uh, of course."

He turned to Araysh. "Well, it seems like we've got a volunteer. We can definitely do it, then. Probably?"

After a short pause, Aegir finally responded.
"Oh, that'll be great, Leilani!" Aegir patted his Jolteon. "I'm sure we'll be able to find him in no time! Maybe he's off camping, or maybe he's simply... stuck in a tree? We'll never know." He added, trying to look on the bright side... if there really was one.
