Ping summoned Chompy into his hands and took out the two keychains,
as if to show his friend them. The chain-chomp idly looked at them
before seemingly resting and dozing off in Ping’s arms. He smiled
and gently patted his friend, considering to keep to keep them on
his person for a while.
He slowly pushed the keychains back into his bag and smiled.
Angel secretly blushed even more as he saw Ping summon the chain
chomp "I-I don't understand, I-I have a crush?" he thought to
himself. he glances at Ping for a moment "crush" he accidentally
blurts out.he ran away with embarrassment "why did I say that!"
Ping didn’t seem to think much of the word, having only heard it in
a manga before. He presumed Angel thought that Chompy was to crush
his limbs, which brought a slight frown to Ping’s face. As he
continued gently patting the chain-chomp (and carefully, for he did
not wish to awake his friend and have his hand bitten off), he
noticed he was getting quite the amount of stares. His antenna-like
void frills lifted a little as he felt slight embarrassment. After
all, chain-chomps seemed to be a highly uncommon sight around these
parts…
(Ngl, a crush on your first day of vacation is crazy) The
beach-goers return to whatever they were doing. Cassandra stands
up, staring out to the water.
Angel heard the chain chomp growl. he felt even more embarrassed
"oh no! he must have heard that! Angel was too scared,he still hid
behind the palm tree
Cat blinked awake, her cybernetics forcing her to wake up from her
nap. She silently cursed in her own native language, Basic, sitting
up. She noticed the lady, Cassandra, from earlier, staring at the
water.
"Oh hey, didn't see you there," she greeted. Then, with a joking
tone, she added, "Are you following me?"
The reply caught her off guard, and she sat there with her jaw hung
open. She had no idea whether to feel complimented or insulted.
Maybe both?
"I- you- wha-?" Cat fumbled over her own words, before settling on
a different topic, "S-so, The Art of War, huh? Would you
recommend people to read it?"
angel felt scared. he romoves the crafted prowler gauntlet and
replaces it with a real one. Angel found it strange that he made
these gauntlets. he knows that the gauntlets aren't commonly seen
or known "I-I just need some space to process what is happening to
me" he said to Ping.but he realized that he was far from him
As Angel was too far away, and since Ping wasn’t paying attention
to his surroundings, he failed to hear the words that were to reach
him. He petted Chompy again before laying down on the blanket.
Ping basked in the sun’s warmth. Due to having no eyes, he gladly
gazed at the sun without receiving any retinal damage. He hasn’t
been in an environment like this, so the increase in temperature
felt slightly different to that of the forest he formerly lived in,
which wasn’t far from his friend’s house.
Angel felt the heat. he takes off his hoodie and wraps it around
him. he glanced at Ping for a moment "I-" he wanted to tell Ping
something, but wasn't ready "what am I doing? I should get to know
this person first. I don't want to tell him how I feel before I
know about him. that would just be weird!" he thought to himself
