Maybe we’re all just… having a dream together. Did we all watch
that one television show series thingy where a note falls from the
sky or something…? Maybe… that happened…”
After saying that, Ping slowly moved his gaze up to a manhole which
was about a few metres away from where he was standing.
"I dont know what a 'show' is but that. . .thing wasn't there
before." She glances at the manhole warily, contemplating on its
danger. Because everything here is a danger, she thinks to herself.
"Hey. . .umm. .you. Are you real? This probably makes me sound a
tad bit crazy, but I need to know."
Venus nods along, having no idea of what Ping is talking about,
"yeah. . .I um, have no clue who Ku is. . .also, i meant are you
real as in do you exist within the confines of reality- whether
that be in a physical forrm, or in my case, a being inside but
outside reality?"
Venus takes a moment to ponder this. "It's compliated but basically
there is another layer of reality that exists outside of it, made
for shadows such as myself. . .sorry if that doesn't help you any.
." She fidgets with the hem of her dress.
She shakes her head and mutters something about "Simple creatures."
She takes a long look at her surroundings, her annoyed disposition
shining through.
“Ping, who are you looking at?” They asked, oblivious to Venus’
presence. Could they not see them? Maybe that was the reason. At
the end of the day, a being of light does not cast a shadow.
"What offering from the void could usurp the gift of life
already given? This place, right here! Is where we are meant to
be."
