i have a Venusaur that mega-able and shiny, but its higher than lvl 50, can I still mega evolve it? I gave it mega stone, but idk how it will evolve since the wiki says once it turns lvl 50 then it would evolve, but my pokemon is lvl 116. Any help would be appreciated.

Isn't your pokemon in GTS right now? Any pokemon that's in GTS, Daycare, Rumble, Battle Team, and Auction are considered "busy" and can't evolve
