He sighed. He took a pill out of his coat. It had an alluring sense
to it, as if it was swallowed, all your problems would be solved.
It was slightly golden and red and was glowing with a captivating
mana. "This change your mind?"
"Ooooh! Shiny pills! Now I want to eat the pill because I am smart
and this is a smart thing to do!" Julius smirked and chuckled
sarcastically. "I should place this in my mouth."
The Minister smiled at that. "Sarcasm will get you nowhere, ah," he
checked his files, "Mr. Grazer." He put the pill back in his coat.
"But if you do indeed want to stay in this area of the Afterworld,
then you be prepared to either join the government or be headed to
prison."
Olivia sighed, “you were with my sister, and she didn’t look like
she liked your company, and if my sister can’t even stand you guys,
nor can the government”
"Well that's not very nice." Julius puckered his lower lip and
expanded his eye. His bottom lip quivered and he blinked out tears
which turned to dust once they hit the ground. Once he finished his
one man show he turned and left the building. "Good luck with
that!" He called.
Athena was still carefreely spreading the message about the secret
meetings. If she kept this up, the whole city would soon know about
it.
That being said, it did include those possibly spies or just
government supporters in general. So here she was again, on
thoughts-that-could-jeopordize-their-plan patrol, and she was doing
quite well at it. A quick sweep with her memory erasing mental
energy wave, and they knew nothing about the plans.
Of course, there were still the people who told them, and that made
it all the more annoying, with her having to constantly erase their
memories. It would be nice if there was a way to avoid them getting
the message in the first place, but word of mouth was the only way
everyone would know in time. She'd already had to knock out four
government officials who'd tried to report the news, probably
killed another one.
Julius popped open a beer. He had left the others and now sat down
by himself. He took a sip and surveyed the area. It was a hill
overlooking the Afterlife world and to Julius, it was a luxury get
away. He'd heard about rumours from passersby about an escape from
the Afterlife. 'Probably one of those girls' he thought. His spot
here was nice and calm and he shook his thoughts out of his brain
and drowned them in alcohol. "Paradise." He whispered.
"Hey hey, you do know that drinking isn't good for you? Not in a
fight, anyways. Surprised you lived this long." Athena was suddenly
next to him, snatching the bottle out of his hands. Why did she
care? Maybe because he reminded her of someone.
