I've had two of the same species of Pokemon (Dottler), one male and one female, both with me as the original trainer, and they "seem to get along very well" in the daycare for like three weeks and haven't gotten a single egg. I've checked every day, and still nothing. What am I missing or doing wrong?

the rpg of getting eggs is quite random, so you'll need to raise the chance. you can get premium, which requires nuggets, a flute, which also requires nuggets, or, at random, you can throw 100 pd into the fountain to raise your chance for the day.

unfourtanetly, yes. another thing you can do to improve the chance is to have a dottler with a different ot (original trainer)

1. Do you have money in the daycare? You have to deposit money to actually make your pokemon breed. You need to have a minimum deposit of 50 per pokemon. So if you want them to breed for 1 hour, then put 100 pd. I prefer depositing 1k-5k so it doesn't get depleted soon [it lasts me for 10-50 hours]
2. If you have deposited pd in daycare, then I guess all you can do is wait

Breeding or Leveling up Pokemon through Daycare only works when you have money deposited. It's practically useless without any deposits
