Kyr shakes her head. "Twinges from an old wound. Happens sometimes." she says, as evasively as Suvansh had been when she asked him about his back. Kyr flexes her wrist and takes a deep breath. Aryyc gives her a worried look but says nothing, curling her tail around her nose and tucking herself back into Kyr's pocket. Kyr runs her finger along the jagged scars once more, indicating what she was talking about.

"Oh.." Suvansh wasn't really convinced by how evasive she was, but was rather the one to credit for it, as he didn't really open up to her about him in anyway. "Hope it's not as bad as it looks..." He turns about, pinches his eyes and scolds himself, Why would you hope so?? It's not as if you care about her- He turns around again. "I'm sorry about my elusive behavior before. It's just, I don't wanna speak about it. I don't wanna...relive it..."

"Everyone has things they'd rather leave behind." Kyr murmured, a blank look in her eyes. Spikes of bitterness threaten to make an appearance on her face. Why would he care if it hurts? Too many betrayals, too much pain. Kyr shakes her head, clearing her thoughts. She wasn't the same girl who had first arrived in Split, she was older. She had learned from her mistakes. She had fought and won impossible battles. She had endured too much.

Suvansh nods, "Mhm". He felt rather bleak. He tried not to think more about that horrid memory, but it just doesn't stop coming back to him. He winces again, as he feels it all back, right again, almost beckoning over, but he caught himself by the wall, but he remained quiet.

Cherry grimaced at the question, unsure of the answer. "Something bad. That's all we know." Terra leaned his head back and rested in on the seat, sighing and clenching his fists in a desperate attempt to get his movement back. "Wherever the Void is broken, it's trying to fuse together with reality. Assuming somebody didn't know of or about the Void, they might go insane, or might just cease.." She trailed off, her grimace still remaining.

"That's, a lot of responsibility to place on one person. How'd you get so unlucky as to have a power like that?" Maci asks light heatedly. She glances away from them again to search around the train and look at every tribute. You really need to work on your paranoia Maci thinks to herself darkly. She turns her head back to the two, now satisfied to see that nobody was watching them too closely.

Charlie had sat down next to Maci and rested her head on her shoulder as they watched Cherry and Terra.

Cherry shrugged, as Terra was still too sluggish. "The strangest part of it is that it's reminiscent of a few myths that Father found a while ago. Besides, it's not all that bad. He and I both find strange effects within certain areas of each other. I get a pair of black wings. He gets... Well, assuming he can demonstrate, you'll see. It's strange to explain."

Maci jolts in surprise when she feels somethings on her shoulder, but quickly relaxes when she realizes that it's Charlie. What is she, a ninja? Maci wonders with an amused smile. "At least there are positives to his power. I am interested to see what Terra can do, but it's no pressure. I don't want him to overwhelm himself. Enough about that though. Are you three hungry? I can get you some food of you'd like?" She offers.

Cherry shook her head slightly, her nervousness threatening her with a terribly upset stomach and the constant threat of heaving out the window. Terra, however, tapped a finger on his leg. Cherry glanced down and watched for a few moments, then nodded. Glancing around the area, she spotted the food table. "Terra's hungry. He wants some fruit, if there's any."

---

Angie sat in silence for a long, long time. She was in her own little bubble, where Luke could point things out to her outside the windows, and she could watch as the Tributes passed by. It wasn't her ability, of course. She needed to be sad for her ability to work. In fact, she was quite happy. She had spotted Zoe a while ago, though hadn't interrupted her on the account of her being occupied talking to another Tribute. Maci, however, seemed to have taken it upon herself to babysit all of the younger Tributes. That sparked Angie's interest.

Maci nods. "Alright, one bowl-full of fruit coming right up." She carefully stands up, as to not disturb Charlie too much. She takes a step forward before pausing to glance over at Charlie. "You can come with if you want" she tells Charlie before continuing onward.

Again, she tries to analyze each tribute that she passes. Some groups seem to have broken apart, but others still remained. She would have to keep an eye on them. When she makes it to the buffet she grabs a few of each fruit for Terra and then glances at the rest of the options, trying to decide what she'll want for herself. There were plenty of different foods to choose from. But for some reason, all of them made her feel sick to her stomach. It's probably just my nerves Maci assures herself. Yeah, let's just go with that...

As Maci split away from the rest of her group, two pairs of eyes followed her. Angie and Lukian, their minds sparked in interest. For Angie, it was curiosity. For Luke, it was wondering how best to protect Angie from Maci, if the need arose. He loomed behind his young acquaintance, becoming nearly invisible to anybody who dared try to spot him. Even then, they would have to examine the area very carefully. Very few eyes were on Angie. That was good, it meant there weren't many trying to figure out how to kill her.

Cherry sat down carefully next to her brother, suddenly reminded of the carving she'd been given by Phenix. Glancing up, she watched as Maci gathered food. She would give the carving to her when she returned. Terra was now fully functional, if a bit sluggish in his mental functions. His words were still slightly slurred, and his comprehension and reaction speeds were lower than usual. It would only take a few more minutes for him to fully recover.

Like a little lost puppy, Charlie followed behind Maci to the buffet table. A tiramisu caught Charlie's eye, so with a fork, she poked it. She smiled as a silent giggle bubbled from her lips, it suddenly dawned on Maci that Charlie's silence wasn't selective, but rather forced upon the child. She was a born mute.

Maybe it was because she was distracted, or maybe this specific power was extremely difficult for her to read. All she knew now was there seemed to be a dark aura in the air. What was most concerning was she couldn't exactly read where it was directed at. Even more confusing, was the fact that she couldn't find the source of the power. All she felt was a presence.

She looks around, trying to see if maybe somebody was fixated on somebody else. Perhaps she was picking up some sort of illusionary power? Those could be difficult for her to interpret. Still, nobody seemed to hyperfocused on anyone else. Her eyes land on Angie. For a moment, she considers that maybe she is the source. No... Angie couldn't possibly be that powerful, she is too young Maci thinks to herself. Her suspicious gaze softens when she realizes that Angie is alone. She doesn't seem to be afraid though.

Maci's thoughts are interrupted by small movements on the corner of her eye followed by a giggle. She glances down at Charlie, looking surprised that she had made a sound. Now that she thought about it, Charlie hasn't spoken a word yet. Was it possible that she was a mute? Maci doesn't ask that question, she doesn't want to press. Instead, she patiently waits for Charlie to load food onto her plate so that she can return to Cherry and Terra.

With a smile she took some tiramisu from the plate then gathered some other food she wanted and looked up at Maci.

It took Eric a minute to calm down. That had...just happened. He hadn't expected Zoe to do that. It was obvious as he returned to his senses that Zoe was trying to unnerve him. But that wasn't like her. Even if they had been estranged for years, Eric knew his sister. She attacked like a bull, a battering ram. Her full-blown ferocity was the key to her winning fights. She didn't play with her opponents, she got it over and done with. So why was she doing it now? Eric had a feeling that it had something to do with her pure and utter hatred of him. That made sense, in a way. It sent shivers down his back just thinking about it. His head was starting to go light, so, shakily, he stumbled to sit down. That was utterly terrifying .

Zoe laughed, seeing his reaction. He deserved it. After all he had done. All thoughts of trying to show that she was a good person had fled, until she saw Angie and her heart dropped. The kid still didn't know. She figured none of them did. But obviously, the rest would know who she was. The fact that there were people who didn't just see her crimes made her already dropping heart twist, and she retreated to a back corner.

Casting one last concerned glance at Angie, Maci makes her way over to Cherry and Terra, she is careful to ensure that Charlie is still following her. She gives Terra a kind smile as she passes a small bowl filled with fruit over to him. "Are you feeling better now?" She asks.

It takes Terra a few seconds after hearing Maci, but he eventually nods and thanks her. Cherry quickly tapped Maci's shoulder, saying, "Father wanted to give this to you, but you had already been put on the train." She held out the carving of the eye. It was made of stone, and was incredibly detailed. Nearly disturbingly so. In the pupil, a small red stone was lodged. "I'm not sure what it is, he just told me to give it to you."

---

Angie watched Maci for a moment longer, then yawned and tipped sideways, laying down in her seat before closing her eyes. Soon enough, she was out cold. Lukian, however, did not sleep. Being a demon, he neither needed nor cared for sleep. He stayed where he was, looming over his friend and casting death glares at any who looked towards the young girl. Some may have laughed, wondering at the idea of a demon, supposedly a ferocious and violent one, looking after an eight-year-old. Others may have been too scared to laugh. Lukian preferred the latter.

Maci tips her in confusion as she accepts the eye carving. Phenix was smart, there was most certainly a good reason for him to give her this carving. Which meant that whatever it did, it was most likely something helpful. She holds the carving up into the window, allowing the sunlight to shine through the eye. It was both disturbing and beautiful to look at. She takes a second to admire it before once again, trying to figure out what it did.

After a few moments, a familiar voice could be heard inside of Maci's head. 'Regular test, stationed thirty minutes apart. Maci, can you hear me?' It might have been shock, or imagination, or even the idea that the Hunger Games were looming over her again, but the voice sounded scarily real. Terra didn't seem to hear it, nor did Cherry. Terra was slowly eating a few pieces of fruit, with Cherry quickly wiping away any of the sticky juice that fell. The voice, as it seemed, had been inside of Maci's head.
