"Wow, very smooth Tenacity" Kayda says with a laugh. "Hold still, I'll help you. I felt a little sorry watching you struggle so much" she jokes. But only to hide how she suddenly felt so flustered at the thought of approaching the mostly shirtless boy. She hides it well, or so she thinks. As usual, she has less control over her facial expressions compared to what she thinks. Her cheeks redden a bit as she delicately slides the shirt over his wings, the tears in the shirt ripping a bit more when she manages to fit the pre-cut slits over his wings. She steps back to give him space to adjust the shirt to his comfort.

Tenacity's wings had shaken ever so slightly when Kayda had guided them into the slits, the extra limbs tucking themselves in when they were through. Rolling his shoulders, Tenacity adjusted the shirt a little, then turned and looked at Kayda. "Thanks. I-" He broke off, a cheeky smile slipping onto his face. "I didn't hit you with my wings, did I?" He gestured to his face, indicating that Kayda had a bit of a situation regarding the red hue across her own face.

Akane ended up coming back to the cafeteria to get water while the others were waiting to start, and stumbled upon Kayda and Tenacity, she had to smirk a bit upon seeing their red faces. "Am I interrupting something?"

Yeah, let's go with that. "Yes" she replies a little bit too quickly. "It's fine though, it didn't even hurt that badly.. We should probably get going, just in case that Peacemaker returns with friends." She turns around quickly, desperate to turn her back to him so that she could regain her composure. Unfortunately, she didn't get the chance because Akane had just appeared. Her face turns redder and a guilty look appears on her face even though they really didn't do anything. "N-no!" She replies. A stutter? Why was she suddenly nervous? Her palms were also sweaty. Was it possible that she was sick? What was happening to her? She has never acted like this before. I'm probably just eager to get this skill showing done. "We were actually just heading out."

Petra, after getting dressed, had headed over to the cafeteria just to get some food for the day. The anthro ocelot had held back her laughter after seeing two of the others blushing. "Heeeeeeeey, my fellow homies, am I interrupting.... anything over here..?????????"

Juno was just eating in silence, not paying attention to the others.

Akane smiled a bit more then waved the two on. "You two haven't missed much, we're just waiting to see who's going first. However I think they're waiting for everyone." The three of them walked into the elevator and made their way down.

Tenacity held back a chuckle, his grin widening. "Now wait a second, what was that?" The winged Tribute raised an eyebrow. "Come on, it's proper manners to look at somebody when they're speaking." Resting his weight on a table, Tenacity spread his wings a little. Then, with a crash and an oomph, his weight was no longer rested. Laying on the ground, he let out a groan of annoyance, then sat up slowly. Tucking his wings in, Tenacity lost his smile. Quietly, he spoke to himself. "Note, tables aren't sturdy."

Tenacity was silent for the walk to the elevator, both embarrassed at breaking the table, and a little excited at the idea of teasing Kayda relentlessly when he got the chance. He was already thinking of more than a few ways to fluster her, but some of those resulted in a pinch to the gut, most likely.

(I guess you can say, Tenacity is really falling for Kayda. Ba boom tsshhh)

Kayda shuts her eyes, willing herself to turn invisible. Why was she getting all flustered up by anyone mentioning the fact that they may have interrupted a moment between them. Nothing happened at all, it was just a friend helping out another friend. So why was she feeling this way? Kayda gasps "Oh man, it's terminal, I'm going to die aren't I?" Her face somehow turns redder when she realizes she said that outloud. "Nope" she replies to Tenacity. "I won't turn around and you can't make me-" a sudden crash forces her to spin around. "Are you okay!"

As they walk to the elevator, Kayda does everything she can to both avoid looking at Tenacity and regain her composure. She turns back to Petra and Juno. "Are you two coming!?" She calls. Those few seconds of having her back turned was crucial. She was finally back to normal. Not dying today! The elevator doors slowly open up, showing off the whole room and every other tribute besides them. Kayda suddenly realizes just how many enemies she'll be faced against. It was like someone poured ice water over her head, the jolt back into reality was shocking.

As everyone simmered down and waited Kayda and Tenacity noticed Cora with a green Inkling who appeared to be a bit older but otherwise she seemed okay. There was a red inkling as well who was kinda just chilling up until someone (random NPC tribute here) asked "how Inkling reproduce"*

(* = This is kinda a joke video but please be +13 at least(that's what the beginning of the video even says as well) as for the Inklings, Orange Inkling = Cora, Yellow-green Inkling= green, and Red Inkling = Red)

Yeah that's not going to happen. Kayda races forward, dead set on silencing Coraline so that she isn't able to tell the poor tribute how it works. But Coraline was faster, and soon the poor tribute is puking her guts out. Is it that bad? I'm pretty happy I can't understand her. "Alright, let's get you washed up, you can't go to the skill showing looking like that." As Kayda sweeps the young tribute towards the bathroom she can't help but laugh at the act that her, the evil Kayda who could, and would fight (almost) anyone; had turned into some form of a Mother Hen.
The two return from the bathroom, the young tribute's face was clean. The tribute's shirt was a bit damp, but at least it was clean now. She catches some Peacemakers watching her, so she decides to glare at them. Just to remind them that they staring at someone dangerous.
This 'dangerous' girl walks back over to Tenacity. Her strength immediately falling as the sense of nervousness seems to return. Is it possible for me to spontaneously become allergic to him? What was this feeling? Was it possible that she liked him? No way- did she!? You could practically see the wheels turning in her head as she analyzes the last few interactions that they've had.

Tenacity rested his hands in front of his belly, silently cursing the Capitol for not giving him pockets. As Kayda returned from cleaning up the other Tribute, he grinned a little. He already had a plan for what to do in the arena: Follow Kayda, blocking shots from her and guarding her back. Then, as soon as the hell was done, he'd be embarrassing her at every turn, taking every chance he got. "What's with the look? You can't go into the skills test looking like that." Tenacity bent down, trying to make eye contact with the downcast gaze.

Kayda rolls her eyes, trying to look unamused, but she can't hide her amused smile. How could he turn her own words against herself so quickly? She raises her head up to meet his gaze, her eyes suddenly turning mischievous. "You know, I would love to tell you. But I think I'll just make you wait for it." Naturally, if she was really going to admit her feelings for him, she was first going to toy with him for a bit. Why would she just be normal and admit it right away? Where is the fun in that? Besides, this'll also help her confirm whenever or not he feels the same. I never get tired of being so intelligent.

"Ohoho, is that so?" Tenacity flared his wings, then grabbed Kayda's arm and wrapped his wings around them, pulling the other Tribute close to him. A quiet voice filled the small circle his wings made, the tone mischievous. "You know, you're a bit too easy to read." Tenacity had quickly trapped Kayda in his wings, guarding her from any gaze that traveled their way. A cheeky grin rested on the boy's face, his hands trapping Kayda further into the sudden trap by lacing together behind the small of your back. "A few minutes ago, I do remember, when wings never grazed your face..." His grin grew, and the circle was suddenly gone. Tenacity had a rather smug look on his face, his wings tucked behind his back and his hands resting under those.

Breath! Deep breath in! Deep breath out! Kayda has to keep reminding herself this as she gazes at his face, a mix of surprise and nervousness written on her features. Curse Tenacity and his ability to accurately read her! Her hands rest on his chest from when he more or less dragged her towards him. For a slight moment, she is reminded of the fact that he was shirtless not to long ago. Sh*t! Her whole face turns red at that thought. Bad move Kayda! For Pete's sake say something before he notices! To her relief, or was it dismay, he releases her from his embrace, with a smug look on his face. She gulps, fighting for something to say. "What a shame, I was certain I managed to play that off well before. Alright, I'll admit it, I don't know how you did it, but I am starting to develope feelings for you." Smooth Kayda, why don't you tell Tenacity in a less human way next time? Oh wait, you can't

Tenacity allowed his smile to grow a bit, his smug look turning questioning. "You were certain huh?" Bending low, Tenacity chuckled. "What about that stutter of yours? Are you suuuuuure you covered it up?" He was taunting her now, it was clear as day. In his mind, he hoped it was working to embarrass her. Hoping. On the surface, he was steadfast in nature. The same could not be said in his mind.

As Kayda sat the exhausted Coraline down to rest for a bit the intercoms above them suddenly clicked on. From the speaker came a calm but firm female voice that called the name of a tribute who would be the first to show the game makers what he or she could do during their private session, from there they'd get a score later on.

Megami shakes her head in mock disappointment. "Someone has a crush! "she says teasingly, coming up to Kayda and sitting down. She grins at Kayda. "Seriously, if you were anymore... I don't know... gushy, I would literally die." she says, teasing again. Megami has her hair pulled back into an intricate kind of braid. She has a determined glint in her eye. She leans over and whispers something in Kayda's ear. "I have a plan for later." she says, hoping Kayda will detect her meaning.
His smile has a grip on me <3

"Well, I have to give you some credit, you are good at reading people. I guess I can't decieve you." She responds evenly. She wasn't quite sure what Tenacity was trying to do, but one thing was clear, he was trying to get a reaction out of her. She wasn't too keen on allowing him the satisfaction of flustering her up further.
"Tenacity" a voice calls. Kayda smirks at him. "Saved by the bell huh? Best of luck to you. You'll need it because you are competing against me." She turns to Megami, her face reddening when she voices Kayda's feelings. Dang it, I was doing great earlier. "It's silly, but I don't think acting all gushy is even in my vocabulary. Enough about that, though. Do tell me your plan. I'm interested to hear how you were able to convince the Peacemakers to comply to your demands."

"I spent pretty much all of last night getting into conversations with the peacekeepers." she answers quietly. "Remember when you said light manipulation? Last night, I met a girl- to guess what- has the ability of light manipulation. Her name is Hoku. As long as Tenacity and I can make a distraction and get her into the room, she can mess with the light. I think I know every peacekeeper in at least 3 miles. Some of them are horrible. But that doesn't matter. It only matter if I can manipulate them. And I think I can."

She takes a moment to process this, tapping her finger thoughtfully against her chin while she thinks. "It's risky, but we have the right people on our side to do this. It won't hurt to try." She glances over Megami's shoulder, obviously looking around for someone. "Speaking of which.. where is Hoku? I want to meet her."
