Because she heard random tapping, Kayda turns around to find the source of the noise, looking slightly worried that there would be trouble. Her stiffened shoulders relax when she spots Megami. "Oh, it's you" she says, but not unkindly. Once again, she seemed to be at a predicament here. Could she trust this girl? Only one way to find out. "Hm, while we are discussing this, what do you think you'll do when you meet the Gamemaker?"

"Oh hi. Umm. I have no idea." Megami said honestly. "I can't really manipulate them at all with my voice, because I don't know any of them. Maybe throw some knives? I'm decent at that. Morse code, manipulation of the mind and the art of stabbing people from far away by throwing a knife are my only real talents. My mind manipulation only works on people who really trust me or really hate me. I don't understand the first part. I don't know why I'd ever do that to someone who trusted me. I guess it comes in handy sometimes with my parents but..." she shrugged. Something made her trust this girl. "What about you?"

meg finished it and threw and juicebox away and sat down next to a wall. she opened her bag and got out a switch blade and a small piece of wood and she began to carve it.

Manipluation and knife throwing. Both were very dangerous skills, not something she wanted to be up against. She did say that she could only manipulate those who trusted or hated her, but that didn't mean her powers wouldn't grow more advanced in the arena. She could be really helpful, but again, the burning question remained: could she trust her? She did seem sincere, but that could change in the arena, especially if they were the lasts ones alive. Kayda silently stares at Megami for a bit longer. After a rather uncomfortable amount of silence, she finally comes to a conclusion. She can take a risk and trust her. Hopefully, she sticks to her word and doesn't manipulate her mind. Kayda smirks, feeling more relieved that she had a new strong ally on their team.
"Knife throwing eh? You should hook some practice dummies up on the ceiling to show off your maximum range of distance. Just throw some rope over the lights hanging from the ceiling and tether one end to a dummy and the other something sturdy, like a table, or even yourself. I'm sure they'd be impressed." She is thrown off guard by Megami's question. Her strength was fighting, but there would be nobody to fight. Her power could be impressive but it was mainly a defensive skill. "I'm still trying to figure that out" she admits.

"Huh, that's a good idea. Thank you, I might do that." Megami said with a warm smile. "Well, what are your specialties?" she asked, her mind whirling around. She was obviously thinking. She taps something out in Morse code on her knee. She imagines the knife idea Kayda had. "That might work..." she thinks.

meg carved it into a mountain lion and put all the shavings into a bag and threw them away and she cut the mountain lion in half and made it so theres a hidden knife in it.she walked over to kayda after she closed the hidden knife thing and tapped her on the shoulder.

Kayda smiles. It felt good to receive praise in addition to helping others. "My strengths? I seem to be great at angering the wrong people... and fighting too, but that won't work, not in that situation." She shuts her eyes, trying to imagine that she was in front of the Gamemakers right now. How would she scare them? She snaps her fingers, a mischievous smile on her face. "Death by birds, I'll attack them with my ability. I'm expecting them to have some kind of protection... but that won't matter, that'll just make my attack much scarier." Feeling a tap on her shoulder she turns her head to look at Meg. "Hm? What's up Meg?"

"That's interesting. What if you got the lights to flicker too or something- so it seems much scarier then it'll actually be. I think." Megami suggested, her mind racing as she pictured the scene. She had never seen the flock of birds but it sounded impressive.

Kayda can't wipe away the evil smile that appears on her face. "That's a great idea! I'm definitely going to do that." She can already envision it. The sound of dark wings flapping as a flock of crows throw themselves at the Gamemakers, their vision being slightly blinded by the flickering lights. It would be like the cruddy old film: The Birds, expect in real life. "Tenacity, would you say I'm scary enough to make it work?" Her attention is once again drawn to Meg. Her smile turns warm when she accepts the gift, it takes all her self control to not geek out right now. There will be no repeat of the train incident. "Thank you Meg, it's wonderful, I appreciate it" she says as she ruffles Meg's hair slightly.

Megami smiles. "I think you're scary enough." she answers, even though the question wasn't directed at her. She's happy Kayda liked her idea. She starts thinking about how it can happen. "Maybe a fault?" she thinks. "Hmmm." she stares at a wall, wondering.

Tenacity looked thoughtful. "Do you want me to answer truthfully, or just tell you what you want to hear?" He flashed his smiled again, then pondered for a moment. "I think you might be scary enough, assuming you can find a way to make the lights flicker." He shrugged. "What if the Gamemakers have epilepsy? The flashing lights would be something very worth trying." He chuckled at his terrible joke, then rubbed his nose. Glancing at the hand he used, he frowned suddenly. However, he said nothing and simply put the hand behind his back. Every few seconds afterwards, he sniffled.

Megami grins again. She's a little curious about the sniffling but she doesn't ask. "If they want you to know, they'll tell you." is what she always says. Unless she knows them personally. Then she just forces them to tell her.

"I believe it's tomorrow" Kayda answers Meg. She takes obvious pride in Megami's answer only for it to be slightly cut down by Teanicty's remark. "You don't seem very encouraged, you should be more like Megami, she gets it" Kayda fires back. She laughs and shakes her head at his dark joke. "This is only making me more eager to try it. But I don't think that I'll get that lucky. Megami is also correct, they wouldn't want us to endanger them. But that does bring up a good point. It may be difficult to make the lights flicker. I guess I'll just have to break the light switch and hope that, that works." She narrows her eyes at Tenacity, taking notice of his sniffling. "Got a cold coming on Green?"

"Err... Believe me when I say no, because it's not a cold. It's uh.. Nothing?" He gave a weak smile, shrugging a little bit. "Nothing to worry about, at least." He could tell Kayda didn't believe him, but he kept his mouth shut about what it actually was. Even the half-glare she gave him didn't cause him to break, however he did get a little twitchy.

"You could sabotage the wires." she pointed out. "Or get someone to do it for you. So you would technically have nothing to do with the lights if they got suspicious."

As usual, Tenacity manages to read her very well. She didn't believe him, but it was very obvious that he wasn't going to tell the truth anytime soon. Fine, I won't pester you about it, for now at least. She silently thanks Megami for quickly changing the subject. "I could... but if I'm being honest, I wouldn't even know where to start. If only one of the tributes had an ability to manipulate light..."
