Crash. Crack. Phoomph! The sounds of analyzing somebody wrong. At the moment, it was ducking and weaving. Tenacity wasn't sure if it was Kayda's laugh that had tripped the ox boy's alarms, or if it was the wide grin the winged boy wore. Whatever it was, the beast was now attempting to eradicate Tenacity with a series of heavy swings. Most of them hit tables chairs, or plates of food. The others usually hit the floor or walls. Tenacity's hands were laced together behind his back, as they might simply get in the way if they weren't. Every few dodges, a loud, airy whap of the wings striking the attacker sounded, echoing off the walls in the small area. Tenacity could tell that there were Peacemakers on their way, he could hear them running to the area. He could almost see them too, flashes of uniforms through other cars. A pair of Peacemakers was already there, the ones who had been in charge of guarding the area. They occasionally jabbed at the attacking ox with their tasers, but had little effect.

"Ah-nines, spore-gth to you two" Kayda responds with a smirk. "I'm sorry, bad timing, I'm seriously am not good at this." She glances up at Megami again, silently begging for help but being too prideful to openly ask. "Um, could you repeat that?" The obvious sounds of fighting and rushing footsteps were alarming to Kayda, but she wasn't about to abandon Coraline while she obviously needed help. What am I supposed to say or do? She wonders, once again raising her eyes to Megami and giving her the same pleading look.

"I-bew-wew-squee-weew!" Coraline suddenly swam back in the puddle until she jumped and gracefully transformed back into her human form as she landed on the bed. "Squi-wi-wi-dee?"

The Peacekeepers finally managed to pull the two fighting tributes apart, at least three more came to each of them to hold them back, not willing to use brute force until it was needed. "If you don't stop we'll make you." One of them hissed at Tenacity.

Tenacity scoffed. "As if I'm the one trying to brutally beat the other down. Look at him! He's got his fists balled! My hands are behind my back, as you can see." Unclasping his hands, he waved them as if he had just finished a show. "Honestly, he was trying to attack another tribute before I stepped in. Clearly, he's unstable and should be separated from the other tributes. You don't want the entirety of the games to be cancelled because one tribute cracked under the pressure and killed the rest of them, do you?"

Kayda turns her head, trying her best to not looked confused but failing. "Alright um... Well, you understand me don't you? So you can nod yes and shake your head for no. Two questions, are you okay? And do you want me to leave?" Kayda mentally slaps herself. Both those questions had obvious answers. Still, she didn't know what else to do. She was really going off of what she has seen others do. Right, console her, just do what Tenacity did.
"Would a hug help?" Kayda asks, she gives Coraline what she hopes is kind smile but looks more like a grimace

Kayda wraps her arms around Coraline's shoulders and brings her in for a hug. "Should I beat that guy up for you? He is a bit out of my paygrade, but if I take him by surprise..." Her words draw away and she suddenly shuts up. Not everybody craves revenge Kayda reminds herself. She was supposed to be comforting her, not reminding her of what happened. "Forget it, nope. I vow to turn over a new leaf... At least until we make it to the Capitol, then all Hell will break loose" she promises

Tenacity turned away from the Peacemakers, allowing a goofy smile to show up on his face. Looking around, he started towards where he saw Kayda disappear to, his stride long and quick. Sitting down outside of where Kayda had gone, he waited for her to come out. The goofy smile never left his face, as if it were plastered there with super glue. She did want trouble, but probably not that kind of trouble.

"Mee-kyu." (Mostly used for "Thanks" or "Thank you" but also for "Booyah") Coraline rested her head on Kayda

Soon they arrived at the Capital and everyone was escourted to their rooms and given a keycard attached to their wrist (viva bracelet) that opened their room and their room only.

Akane and Leaf were next to each other, much to their relief. Melody was across from Akane and Coraline was across from Kayda.

Coraline wasted no time and inked up the floor to allow herself quicker movement in her room.

Meg sat on her bed and set down Frank who curled up in the bed and was asleep.she took a deep breath and pushed down her bad stuff and walked out of her room.

It had been.. Gun, telling Kayda the simple sentence that Tenacity had wanted to say. "Hey, Kayda! I got in trouble with the substitute, promise you won't be mad?" Kayda was likely the only person Tenacity really felt comfortable around, he felt like she was the only one that could see his humorous side. And there was plenty of bottled up humor for Tenacity to use, about fifteen years of it.

As Tenacity stepped into his room, he glanced around. All that went through his mind was bland, bland, bland, ugly, pointless, unessential. The room was so large compared to what he had been staying in. To him, it was like going from a pond to an ocean in a single bound. Spinning slowly, he looked at everything that was there. Then, he started deciding what to take down and possibly burn.

"Mad?" Kayda asks. "As long as we don't lose our heads... Literally... any trouble is good trouble. Great job!" Kayda turns her attention back to the window. If looks could kill, then the Capitol would be ashes under her withering gaze. Here we go

The Room

Everything seemed to fly by in a blur. The only real memory of the previous days was the day they arrived, and the horrific look in Kayda's eyes. Her reflection returns, still just as angry, but more tired now. Bruises ran across her body from all the fights she had gotten into, mostly with the Peacemakers.
"I could leave" she whispers. Pressing a hand on the window's glass. There was nothing stopping her. She could just turn into her swarm and- a groan escapes her lips when the window doesn't open. Of course... They wouldn't want her to escape. She was their pretty little property. A weapon used for entertainment. I wouldn't want to escape anyway, I want to stay and protect them. Kayda thinks to herself with a smile. There were too many lives on the line, too many people who she wanted to protect, regardless if they needed it or not.

(Imma just going to quietly remove everyone but Coraline and Akane)

Once everyone had settled into their rooms everyone was eventually ferreted out (not literally) they were left to their own devices so long as they didn't attempt to harm another tribute.

For Coraline this meant just isolating herself in a large corner of Cyan ink and sitting there viva squid form. As for Akane it meant looking around the place, looking but not touching.

"So we aren't going to be locked in our rooms until we are sent to the arena?" Kayda asks the Peacemaker who was rudely shoving her out of her room with an amused smile. "Awe, you are so kind~." When she reaches the doorway she stops allowing the Peacemaker to push her into the hallway. She roots herself into her spot and silently glares at the Peacemaker. Her gaze seems to be saying: try me. When the Peacemaker tries to shove her again, she doesn't budge, she just sways back a bit under the force of the shove. On the corner of her eye, she spots another Peacemaker heading towards them. When he is a few feet away from her she suddenly whips her body around. Her sudden movement startling the Peacemaker. She laughs coldly at his reaction and waltz around him. Her movements turning sassy under their bemused expressions. "Hm, I wonder how Tenacity is doing"

A voice called out from around the corner. "Did I hear my name?" Immediately after, Tenacity rounded the bend. "Aww, you weren't missing me, were you?" He put on a goofy smile, nodding to the two Peacemakers. They seemed shocked at his sudden appearance, as if it had been queued. Although, he had simply been wandering around when he heard Kayda say his name.
Ah, so you, O Mysterious and Curious Soul, have come to seek answers in the abyss?

"Miss you?" Kayda replies with a chuckle. "Nonsense, I just wanted to make sure my partner in crime hasn't landed up dead yet." Noticing that he seemed to be looking at something behind her, she turns around, her expression turning sour when she notices the two fools were still there. "Hey!" She shouts to two Peacemakers. "You can go now." She fights away the condescending smile that threatens to appear. She won't get away with ordering them around if she smiles like that.

Tenacity made a face. "You really think a scuffle with an ox or a bit of a vacation would kill me? Puh-lease. It takes a lot to kill me. Trust me, you've seen my life." He chuckled a little, regretting mentioning the memory. He didn't show it, though. He tried to cover up the regret. It was true that he was hard to kill, but the scuffle was more of a one-sided attack. Either way, he still wore a smile.
