Yung and Emerald continued walking...that was one figured who jumped down...but he swore that there were definitely more up in the treetops...

Gadian watched Yung and his son walk past him. Gadian opened his mouth to speak, but quickly closed it and looked down. He looked at the treetops to catch the possible attacker. As half-hearted he checked, he felt a sadness eat at his heart.

Gadian looked towards the masked attacker and swung his axe into their side, while trying to grab their waist with a vine. His blue eyes were narrowed to slits.

Using his axe to block a lot of the flames, a patch of fur was blackened slightly from the impact. He shouted again and he aimed for the masked child’s head.

Gadian summoned a vine within the flames and grabbed V’s waist, then using another one to cover his mouth and a third to reach for his arm.
