“Oh, the contests are south. Oh wait, is that Megami? Oh boy! We may get to compete with her! Come on ace, we won master beauty contests, and hyper tough contests. We can win this style contest!” Her Medicham simply nodded. “Maybe we should follow to get to the contest hall, I mean if we had questions go see her.”

"oh, a contest, huh?" Sky says, remembering that his
salamence is still with quicksilver. "i GUESS i could enter
with this thing... " he mutters to himself, looking down at
the pokeball in his hand. the pokemon inside lets itself out
and suddenly, a staraptor is perched on Sky's shoulder.
"we might as well enter, old pal..." sky says to his staraptor,
which nods in aproval

Lucifer, the Houndoom, started to run south. Sebastian just followed. "A true devil" he sighed, thats how his Houndoom was known. Most trainers he had fought called it by that nickname. Sebastian caught up to his houndoom which had slowed down a little, the fire dark type seemed to almost jump around a little . "usually youre not that excited.." Sebastian looked at Lucifer, who barked in response

"Of course we do. There are the crystal caverns, about an hour's walk east from here." Megami said immediately. She points in the direction, where the outline of a large mountain was seen. "I wouldn't recommend it after dark, it gets quick a bit more dangerous." Megami raised her eyebrow. "Contests here are much different then the ones in Sinnoh. I wouldn't be surprised if you happen to get... swept off your feet." she said, a hint of teasing but a lot of mischievousness in her voice and eyes.

Amari nodded, stepping off the boat with Melodine. "Would you like to see where the contests are held? We also have a few shops that you might enjoy!" Amari herself was a little excited about the contest, it was perhaps her favorite thing. She and her Salazzle worked hard for them.

Oliver finally walked back to the docks, a pokeball in his hand. Inside sat his Banette. It comforted him, knowing his pokemon was back with him. He finally arrived, frowning as the feeling of being watched hit him. It wasn't the feeling he was used to with his pokemon. It was something different, he didn't feel comforted by it at all. Shaking his head he listens to the one who introduced herself as Megami. The contest sounded somewhat interesting. Perhaps he should give it a try?

"Yes, that'd be great." Melodine said with a small smile. A curl of pink hair falls from her hoodie, but she doesn't notice. She seems slightly nervous about the idea but goes along with no complaint.

Megami's eyes sparkled. "Just you wait and see. It'll be... spectacular." she said mysteriously. She had a couple ideas. Her white hair shone under the sun.

Bebe nodded after hearing Megami's response, she scrawled down Crystal Caverns and Contests in her notepad. Contests, huh. She'd always loved watching them on TV as a little girl. Back then, she had always thought the only way pokemon could be used competitively was through Pokemon Battles.

meanwhile, sky is chilling again, not really giving
a care in the world about what everyone else is doing. he's
sitting on the bench he was sitting on earlier, hoping that
nobody wakes him up... again. his staraptor named Storm silently
lands behind Megami and lets out a cry. Sky starts to chuckle, and
that chuckle slowly turns into a laugh. the kinds of things
sky laughs at are cruel and mean things, mainly because of
team rocket's influence on him. he also really DIDN'T like Megami
because he KNEW that Megami liekd everyone... everyone except
for him.

Amari's eyes locked onto the strand of pink hair, things slowly starting to click in her mind. She didn't say anything as she turned around, guiding Melodine to the Contest. "Do you have idea about who the special guest may be?"

Megami ignores Storm and continues talk about the contest. A low growl, an almost feline growl comes from behind Sky, causing him to jump and almost fall over. She waves the staraptor away from her with a glare that even frightens the powerful bird pokemon.

Sky's hood falls off from falling and everyone in crowd recognizes
him as an ex team rocket admin. sky continues to laugh, then stands
up and says to megami with a grin, "welp, you got me. anyways, now
that everybody recogmizes me, i doubt I'll ever be welcome on Coren
again, so I'll just be on my way." he then walks over to the dock and
apears to jump into the water in an attempt to... drown himself?!
none of the people there seem to care about sky anymore
and don't CARE that's he's going to die. in fact, one guys is overheard
saying "serves that jerk right, he deserves to die a painful death," along
with a few choice curse words. however, sky, under the water,
has a tentacle wrapped around his leg, dragging him downwards.
'what?! the size of the thing dragging me down is GARGANTUAN!
it's gotta be at least 10 times bigger than me.'

Megami roles her eyes. "Thank you everyone! And a special thanks to Sky for coming out." she acts as if everything is just a plot, just a ploy. Thankfully, people believe her. Everyone starts laughing. "Good one!" someone comments to Megami. She just scowls at the young man. She gives a smile and everyone smiles back. The crowds begin to disperse. She sighs for a second. "And remember, if you want a taste of the drama, the horror, the tradegy and the comedy, check out the Coren theaters. The Mystic Mistress has a show tomorrow, get your tickets now!" she says. She nods to a young women on her left who dives into the water and saves Sky.

Sky seems to have given up hope of getting back up.
he just closes his eyes and thinks, 'this is the end, than.
i can't get out of the grip of this tentacle... i guess this is
my redemption for being with team rocket. at least my
pokemon will be safe...' then, he lets go of the pokeballs
that contain his remaining team. back on the surface,
Storm is shocked at its trainer getting dragged under the
surface. it looks at the man who insulted Sky and it flys
over to said man. then, it uses close combat to knock
the man into the water as well. it is clear that this Staraptor
will not accept ANYONE insulting its trainer

The young women swims at inhuman speed, doing something that Sky can't quite catch as he falls unconscious. The young women saves Sky and the young man and brings them to the surface.

Sky is sputtering up water, his face full of pure anger.
he has a gigantic cut on his leg, and he limps back over
to the dock to retrieve his pokemon and staraptor looks
ready to pummel the other man into oblivion. however, Sky
snaps his fingers and says to Storm "now's not the time, Storm.
we have bigger fish to fry right about now, okay?" Storm nods
and looks at the wound on Sky's leg inquiringly. "oh, that cut?" Sky
asks, "its nothing, I'll just learn to live with it. my achilles tendon
IS ripped, but I'll be okay." with that, Storm perches back on Sky's
shoulder and the two walk off, with sky pulling his hood back up over
his face.

The young women holds up her hand in a stop gesture. She gestures for him to sit back down. One look at Storm and storm seems to fall asleep. Megami comes over. "Well... that was... dramatic."
