Goliath had remained silent throughout the conversation. He examined the trainer and nearly scoffed. She could hardly have any training herself. Still training was training, and he was itching to Obliterate something. A stone would be nice. A monster would be better.

Juanita clapped her hands once. "Alright then, let's get started." She walked over to a small panel on the wall. "When I press one of the buttons on this panel, a monster is going to come charging at you. It's not a real one, since getting one would be impossible and we don't know your level of skill yet. So, for now, you'll be fighting robotic monsters that I'm going to be controlling. Any questions?"

Goliath raised his right hand, his left hand grabbing a pair of shiny objects from the waistband of his shorts. "Why couldn't you capture a monster? It sounds simple enough to me. Have you tried stunning or intoxicating one instead of killing it?"

Juanita nodded. "That's a good question. The problem is, human contact causes a sort of stimulation that brings mutants into a mode of extreme anger. They can push past tranquilizers of any lethality and will fight to the death. We have no choice but to kill them there and therefore, cannot bring them in for training."

"Have you tried blunt force?" At that, his left hand opened and showed the glimmering weapons there: a pair of fighting knuckles, made of steel and studded with small points. "Last I checked, not even a rock could stay away with enough blunt force." At that, he donned the knuckles and closed his fists, holding the weapons up in demonstration.

Juanita shook her head. "We don't have anyone skilled enough in blunt force to get it done correctly, especially since most of these mutants are very large. It would have to be someone like you, I assume, since you seem so confident about your skill in blunt fighting, who has a lot of practice in this. But for now, the best we can do is these robots."


The man laughed. "Alright. You asked for this." He pulled out a switchblade and pointed it at him. "Your move."

You call that a weapon? *He slashed the sword at his hand knocking the switch blade away as he cut a thin layer of skin off his hand* You need a better weapon to fight me. I don't want to waste my skills with that small thing

The man grimaced as he fell to the ground as well. He clutched his side and pointed at the ground. Piercing the soil was a hunched back like an animal.

The man scrambled up, still holding his side. "You'll regret this." Mally had pinned the other one against the ground, but when she saw the hairy animal back break the surface, she released her and pushed her out of the way. As the huge animal resembling a cross between a bull and a molerat rose into the air, Mally was trapped, terrified, on its back. Malince and Rouges alike scattered as it let out a rumble.

Mally stared up at the gargantuan creature. "What in the world is that?" Lawernce was handed a shotgun, and he took aim at the creature's pallid, blind eye. "MoleBull. This one must have gotten angered by the noise."

Jaunita smiled. "Don't worry, that will come soon enough. But for now, you'll practice on these."

Molebull? I've neevr seen one of these up close *He watched it in amazement* It probably was. Those rogues made a lot of noise. If it wouldn't have been for them Mally wouldn't have been in danger like that
