All of the newspaper was on the windows, none of it blowing off of it. Luke sits by the window, watching fairies fly by.

“Well we have all kinds of books. Lots of them are fantasy and studies on magical creatures and other such things.” Grandpa said. “You’ll also find fiction fantasy along with science fiction and basically any genre you can find.”

meg gets a book about dragons and says"dragons have eggs every 2- 3 years and if you're lucky you will find one in a forest and they can have 1-4 eggs"and meg leaves the book open.

Luke reads some more. “Dragons are very rare as most have been moved into the 7 Dragon Sanctuaries (introduced in the 4th book) by wizards, who were once dragons but took on a permanent human form.”

The drawing was hand drawn, and was very descriptive. The dragon had horns like a buffalo and hair, although most had scales. It wasn’t a specific dragon, just a random dragon once seen by someone. It also had a long tail and something that looked like hooves and claws combined. It had two brown/black wings.

The nest looked abandoned. There was probably a dragon living in Fablehaven once before settlers moved from across Europe and claimed the territory. The date was dated in the year 1814, a few years after Fablehaven was founded. “This is a cool book.” he said, turning the page to some ugly monster.

Luke saw a big map of the entire forest, places marked off like Swamp and Marshes among other things. “I’m not going into the swamp. There could be like a witch in it.” Luke said.
