Amelia: Hazel led you to a hut and made you sit
down, bringing back a bowl of fruits and a jug of juice.
"So, any questions to shoot? Usually people that just came here
have questions," she said. Before you could speak, she raised her
hand. "Also, don't ask how you got here. No one knows. It's still a
mystery," she said with a sigh. "I wonder how my family is doing,"
she mumbled.
Caleb: Cole nodded. "It's pretty easy. I'll teach you when
we get back. The dragons here speak a weird language and now we use
it too," he said rolling his eyes. "Anyway let's go, the sun will
rise soon," he said and got on Bolt's back. "Hop on," he
said.
"Wait, are you for real?!?! Ohhh man!" he happily exclaimed as he
carefully made his way on top of the dragon. "Thank you kindly. I
hope I was somewhat useful." he said as he looked at the horizon.
"Oh! Crystal might wake up soon." Chances are she probably slept
soundly, given that she had a dragon to protect her and also keep
her company. Even though he knew all that,he was still a bit
concerened.
Caleb: Cole smiled. "I'm sure you will and have
always be helpful, everyone with us is," he said as he patted
Bolt's scaly head. "Hold on," he said and they shoot to the sky. It
felt like you were on a roller coaster, then he slowed down into a
glide. "Lightning dragons are fast flyers. It gave me a heart
attack when I first flew him, really," he said as he wiped the
sweat of his forehead.
"So there are more than it seems. Each dragon has its own unique
attribute, seeing as Bolt was able to summon lightning or something
and that it was fast ones." He started to like this place more
by the second. It was like his childhood was coming to life. He
tried to hold on tight enough for him to not fall down while also
trying to not hurt the dragon.
Caleb: You had a good catch for the night and Cole
said he will finish off the last deer under you. The dragon hovered
in the air and Cole readied his bow. He was so busy about the prey
that he didn't realize a flaming thing was shooting right at you.
You saw it, what will you do?
A. Alert Cole
B. Sit still and let Cole finish his hunt
Crystal: Flora nudged you at the first rays of light spill
through the window. It seems hungry.
"H-H-Hey...C-Cole... I think there is something you should see..."
He said as he pulled Cole's shoulder back and pointed at the
flaming thing coming at a fast speed right at them. He assumed it
was a fire dragon but he couldn't really be sure about it.
“Wow, except for that nightmare, i slept pretty soundly. Thanks to
you Flora.” Crystal said as she got up of the bed, petting Flora.
Seeing a mirror, she stood in front of it, tying up her hair into a
ponytail. Smoothening her dress to remove the creases from it, she
managed to make herself look presentable. Flora nudged her, a
flower in her mouth. Taking it, she weaved it into her hair, “Come
on, lets go! I wonder what the boys are doing.”
Caleb: Cole looked at the fire blast and squinted to
see better. "Ah," he said calmly. "It's a Phoenix. Those things
almost never come close. I wonder why-" he was cut off as the
firebird swooped onto your arm. Its talons were hot at first but
soon it cooled down to a warm and bearable heat. Cole smirked.
"Nice, it likes you," he grinned.
Crystal: As you got out you saw a lot of people around. Some
were back from what you could assume was mining. Most of the houses
were made of huts but you saw a particular one made of stone. A
huge banner draped on the walls inside it with two people standing
guard. It looks really important.
A. Visit it
B. Find something else to do
A. "Wow... that looks important. Let's check it out, perhaps it
will give me more clues about this place." Walking towards the
building, Crystal wondered how the people got here. Were they born
here? Did they came in the same way she got in?
"Oh! H-Hey there, buddy. How come you like me? Anyway,I hope we
become good friends." Caleb exclaimed as he started petting it.
Heat never really bothered him anyway. He tried to maintain his
calm, because Phoenixes were also something he liked reading about
when he was a child, seeing as the Phoenix was calmly resting on his
arm.
Crystal: The two people smiled and parted to let you
through. You saw a banner with four animals on it, looking
majestic. You could tell two of them, the wyvern and a pegasus, but
the other two were undepictable. Around you were shelves topped
with books that looked old and dusty.
A. Ask about the banner
B. Try to read the books
Caleb: Cole shrugged. " Phoenix don't usually come to us a
lot. I think they get scared pretty easily, but I know of some
other people who had them as their partners," he said. He looked at
the sky. "Well, good hunt for today, let's go back," he said. He
spoke to Bolt again and they were back in a flash.
Gulping nervously, Crystal nervously asked, "Ex..excuse me.. But
may i ask what are the 2 other animals on the banner?" Flora nudged
her, giving her some confidence as she took a deep breathe to calm
herself down.
Crystal: The two people looked at you kindly."The
one on the left is a Chimera and the one one the lower left is
Fenrir, the two beast in this realm," they answered. "The first
people who ended up here found this banner but didn't know what to
do with it, so they hanged it here," one of them added. Flora
seemed to be alarmed hearing the two names getting brought
up.
"Flora, is there something wrong? Why are you reacting this way?"
Crystal said worried about the dragon next to them. Observing the
banner again, Crystal furrowed her brows... "What you mean is that
nobody left this place and the people here are from outside?"
Caleb sighed as he jumped down from Bolt. "I'm glad I was of some
use, even if it was a little." He shoot his feet as they were flying
for quite a while. Maybe Crystal was still sleeping in her tent or
something. He stood next to Cole. "Can I help you with the food we
gathered?"
Crystal: The people nodded. "We reckon this place
was empty before the first people ended up here all of a sudden
with no clue. They figured that there was no way out and lived with
it like we are now," she said. "Believe it or not, we have probably
been here for years," she sighed. "I have a daughter at home alone
with her father. I wonder how they are doing without me," she
mumbled. "However, people started... disappearing. Normally hunters
would be home by dawn with their catch, but some never showed up
ever again. I wonder what happened to them," the man besides her
spoke.
Caleb: Cole raised his hands. "It's fine, the other people
will take care of it and bring it to the cooks. For now go clean at
the stream over there, breakfast starts in," he paused looking up
at the sky then looked back at you, "5 minutes. Be here by then,"
he said as he went off to get some people.
"...."Speechless for a few moments, Crystal thought. Gone missing?
Suddenly the riddle popped back in her head... "Do you by any
chance think they found a way out but couldn't get back in to tell
us the way out?"
Crystal: The two people looked grieve for a moment.
"Maybe. But they could have also been killed by the great beast
trying to do so," he said pointing towards the banner. "I saw that
Fenrir kill my friend once with my very own eyes. These beast are
feared by everyone here. They can slay a hundred of us in just a
few seconds," he looked at you in the eye. "And death here, means
you'll never have a chance to go back," he said seriously.
"I see... No wonder Flora looked so scared for a moment." Crystal
sighed. "Thanks for the information, I really need it, I just came
here yesterday. And I'm completely worried what remains of my house
if I do not go back sooner."
Crystal: The two peole smiled. "Glad to clear out
any confusion. Hopefully, we can all find our way out soon," the
woman said and they returned to their post by the door. The same
moment, you saw Cole talking to some men outside.
A. Talk to Cole
B. Explore the house further
