"Hey....Floyd,are you okay?" She walked up closer to him and
checked his neck and eye to see if it had any sort of wound from
the knife that would result in his mood changing that drastically.
What happen to his happy-go-lucky attitude? Of course Laura's face
had "worried" written all over it regarding his mood change but on
the other hand that could also mean that he's serious about
it,which was somewhat pleasant. Perhaps Meitso actually managed to
scare him. She picked up the chair he kicked and placed it on the
ground as it was and looked around the room , trying to make out in
what sort of room they were in from the furniture. Thoughts about
him killing her constantly came and went since they were alone,in a
locked room, with Floyd being serious. Deep down she knew he
wouldn't kill her.....right?
Clearing her throat, Amelia called out. She didn't want to do this
but she had no choice. It was the orders she have: to trick the
humans to trusting and then eliminate them. It was cruel and she
didn't want to do it but unfortunately, she could not choose her
own fate.
Turata saw Amelia and yelped, hoping he didn’t get her attention.
He clamped his hands over his mouth and tried to be as hidden as
possible. She was a ghost and that means she would probably kill
him... He didn’t want to die! Not like this!
Meisto knew she wouldn’t be able to get back into the building for
a while, if not forever. Come on... Why couldn’t he just let her
stay? Did he really hate her that much? Was what she did to him
really that bad? She sighed and looked out on the field. She felt
like something was off... She couldn’t float and... Well that’s a
first. He had basically forced her to become human, or as
human-like as possible... What a pain...
Onslaught jolted awake, hearing a yelp. His maniacal grin was gone,
instead replaced with an animalistic snarl. His eyes were fire, his
hands balled into fists. He started to look around, trying to find
the source of the call.
"I'm fine, stop-" trying to bat away Laura's hands Floyd sat down
to try and think through the situation. But no matter how long or
hard he sat there, things just didn't come to him. Of course they
wouldn't, Floyd was never someone who thought things through, he
always went headfirst into a situation and went with the flow. But
this time he couldn't do that. This time he also had to look out
for someone else, someone else who wasn't as physically capable
like him, someone who wasn't... Damn it just sitting around and
thinking was making Floyd livid again. "Hey Bailey," he suddenly
spoke up, a slow smile beginning to crawl on his face as a vague
idea began forming in his head. "Are you good at planning?"
Yoshitiro waved over one of the spirits while walking back to his
office, grumbling angrily as he did so. “Treat our guests to
some food... They could be starving and we wouldn’t want that...”
he ordered. We need to gather them all up, start a
conflict... Thinking to himself, he watched as the spirit when
to inform the cooks before entering his room.
Meisto began to roam around the field, hoping to find something
different to look at other than the hotel and the grass. Maybe if
she found a city... Her legs began to grow tired, something that
she forgot happened due to hardly using them.
Turata slowly snuck around Amelia, hoping that he didn’t catch her
attention as he did so. He just needed to get to somewhere safe
before he was attacked...
Miko found the room she had appeared at before being called to
speak with the manager. Ryssu's sudden change of attitude had
intimidated her and the black haired girl hoped to avoid her. She
hadn't really seen much of her, just a curious girl in the forest,
maybe just a bit bored of her life, now turned savage because of a
ghost's words....well, now that she thought about it, shouldn't
Miko be turning that way too? She was supposed to be the last one
standing in order to live, but what was going to happen if she just
hid? She just hoped all the idiots would kill each other.
“Please make your way to the dining hall, dinner will start soon...
Of course I’m not forcing you to, but you won’t have much of a meal
for a while...” he spoke monotonous before turning off the
microphone and sitting down at a different table. He looked at the
empty chair across from him before snapping his fingers, bringing
an old man into the room. “THE HELL?!?” He yelled, nearly falling
out of his chair. “Calm down Zephros-“ he was cut off by another
one of Zephros’s yells. “Why did you bring me back hear!?!” He
slammed his hand on the table, clearly angry. “I was bored, and I
needed to talk to you. But first...” he spread a deck of cards
across the table. “Poker? Like the good old days...?”
"Uhm,I ain't that bright but I think I can come up with
something,why? Also,my last name is
Furukawa, it's Laura Furukawa. Who's Baily? " She removed
her hands and distanced herself from his neck and eyes, seeing as he
is unharmed. "Don't worry we'll make it! And if we somehow end up
being the last ones standing, you have my word that you'll be the
one getting out!" She said trying to comfort him even slightly.
"Food?" Ryssu mumbled, turning her direction to the dining room.
That didn't sound to bad right now... wait. Ryssu, you idiot. You
want a murder weapon? Kitchen knives exist! She picked up her pace
as she awaited the meal. Well...meal or murder spree...
Miko slowly made her way out upon the realization that she probably
would get much food if she didn't show up, though there was no
doubt in her mind someone would try to make a kill...she just hoped
it wouldn't be her...
Tenshi had already arrived at the dining room, and was hovering
over the table... she awaited the arrival of the...guests. She was
supposed to kill them, yes? Nah...she'd rather play with them
instead.
"Hmmm I was-" being cut off by the announcement, Laura didn't get
to hear the rest of Floyd's thought. "So thats one problem
solved.... but that means interacting with others. What do you
think. Do we go or not?" Floyd hummed, turning to Laura to see what
she would choose. This would serve as his mini test for her. If her
decision proved to be useful to both of them, then Floyd would
undoubtedly stick with her through thick and thin until he got
bored of her. If not... well, lets not think about that option,
yes?
"Fo-Food!!" she perked up as she turned to Floyd, embarrassed about
her previous remark. "...there will undoubtedly be some
people there and if not then ghosts... I haven't eaten since...."
she tried to add up the hours but she remembered that she was also
unconscious. "...well for a long time. But I can manage! We don't
really have to go,plus we don't even have weapons for self-defense
in the first place...." she fiddled with her fingers.
"Aw, Little Blondie is the type to think with her stomach hmmm?
Thats adorable!" Floyd squealed, part of his more excitable
personality coming back. He paused at the next problem, a weapon.
"Well, I have a killer hug." He shrugged. That's right, when he
said if it was okay to squeeze everyone to death, he really did
mean squeeze everyone to death with his arms. "And for you...
well...." Picking up the chair in the room, there was silence for a
second before one of the chair legs was snapped clean off, a wicked
pointed edge of splintered wood serving as a blade. "Use this for
now until we get something better?"
“Come on! He’s just teasing me at this point!” Meitso grumbled,
somehow heating the announcement as well. She noticed something in
the distance that immediately distracted her from her anger. It was
either trees or buildings... Either way, that was good!
“Look I’m not in the-“ “Come on, just one game? I need
something to cure my boredom... At least until it happens...” he
muttered as he began setting up the cards, chips, all that. Zephros
quickly stood up with a shocked look on his face. “You’re gonna-!”
He was cut off by Yoshitiro clamping his hand over his mouth.
“Careful... The readers might hear, it will ruin the suspense for
them!” They both sat back down, Zephros was still quite shocked and
angry.
Turata perked up at the mention of food. Thank goodness! It felt
like it’s been decades since he ate! Problem is... they were
trapped in a killing game... He would have to interact with the
people there...
She nodded as she received the splintered wood. "Let's say that we
do go....and we manage to eat at peace and not disturb the other
humans...what about the ghosts? I'm sure there are more than just
Meitso, and even tougher and meaner too!" Floyd seemed like the kind
of guy who would shake and hold your hand a bit too tight
and give hugs that break backs... "I don't always think with my
stomach,y'know...." she said pouting and crossing her arms. "Given
that you gave me a weapon and whatnot,I assume that you wanna go
there..." She started thinking about a way to deal with ghosts and
prepared herself for pretty much anything that could scare her.
Ryoko was just sitting in the lobby, adjusting her dragon mask as
she kicked off her tennis shoes, letting her obscenely brightly
colored socks show. She did understand that as one of the spirits
stuck in this damn building for who-knows-how-long, she has to
actually kill people, but for one thing, she'd only really want to
do that if someone made her really angry, and she's not really the
type to hold a grudge. So, she just decided to sit there, relax,
and maybe wait for someone she could prank. Since she is pretty
much stuck here, she might as well make the most out of the
afterlife.
"Yup! But I'm leaving the final decision to you~" he nodded, and it
seemed like all irritation had melted off of him, returning him to
his normally childish demeanor. Honestly, ghosts were so
troublesome, he couldn't actually hit them or squeeze them to
death, but he was sure that there was something that could work.
Salt? Wasn't that something that helped? Or maybe garlic... No he
was thinking of vampires now. Oh well, he'd find out soon enough!
"Me?!? Why me?!? Well...we can just go,grab somethin' to eat and
then if stuff get messy we can always make a run for it... So,shall
we?" She said as she tightened her grip holding the splintered wood
and nodding to Floyd. She would be extra careful while going to the
dinning room as not only did she not know the eay,but maybe some
could have set up an ambush of some sort.
Grinning at the decision, Floyd nodded and let out a cheer. "Off we
go~" he declared boldly, unlocking the door. Poking his head out,
he did a quick search to make sure that the coast was clear before
waltzing down the corridor. He had no idea where the dining room
was but he was sure he'd find it eventually
Meisto got closer and closer to the forest in the distance,
slightly disappointed but it was still something. Maybe she could
find someone... She stood at the tree line and sighed, ready to
head in.
Yoshitiro and Zephros finished the game and their talk, both with
tired looks on their faces. “Goodbye, thanks for the game...” He
muttered and snapped his fingers, returning Zephros back to his
house. “Dinner will begin momentarily, thank you for attending...”
he muttered before making his way to the dining hall. He wanted to
see all this himself.
Turata made his way to the dining hall, hoping he was early so he
could hide so he wouldn’t have to interact with others
