Sage hesitates. "Wow, I don't think I'll ever get use to seeing that happen to your eyes" she tells Maddy. "I don't blame you though, whoever did this deserves everything that'll come to them... but how exactly are you going to find the person that did this? Tani is the only witness" Sage points out

Blossom was going about the room reapplying the herbal lotion onto Tani's wounds that were still red and angry from the burns.

Emi poked her head from behind the wall and perked up at seeing Maddy.

Star was sharpening her sword at her weaponsmith table, once finished she started practicing with her bow and while she wasn't the best archer she was slowly getting better, heck she was mediocre now and she saw that as an improvement.

Luke finishes swiping at trees and bushes deep in the forest and sighs. That felt better. He starts slowly walking towards the kingdom, his head down low. He gripped his sword tighter.

Barry quickly goes behind Blossom’s house where the other people were, including Sage. He didn’t really know why he spied on people, but he didn’t have much to do.

Gwen is up early in the morning doing her usual ride around the kingdom. Her thoughts are consumed by the events of last night. Silver, Maddy, and war. Tani must've been talking about Maddy to point out that Maddy returned. The war part could hint at the possibility that the Cloaks have returned. But what did the silver part mean? Gwen was also busy trying to figure out why there were no guards by Tani and Blossom's place. The soldiers who were assigned to guard their houses seemed just as confused as Gwen, they didn't even know they were supposed to keep watch. She shakes her head, feeling rather annoyed by the mystery of last night. As Gwen rides, she watches the treeline. A small part of her is prepared to see a Cloak. Of course, that doesn't happen.

Blossom was sleeping, trying to recover the energy lost from last night's crazy events. Emi was also sleeping in her room next to Blossom's.

Star walked around with her sword sheathed. Given that the news had spread like a wildfire about the attack on Tani, but she was confused as everyone else.

*Benton walked through town, bracing himself on his cane while doing it. Every one in his way quickly fled in fear of feeling his wrath. He saw Sage and quickly walked over to her* Councilmember Sage!

Blossom got up and dressed, as she went out to get more medical herbs when heard Benton say her name "Maddy was seen walking into Blossom's house last night. You wouldn't happen to know anything of this, would you?" Blossom spun on her heel and looked at Benton, but bit her tounge seeing Sage handling it.

"Maybe I do... Maybe I don't" Sage crosses her arms, looking disappointed by his question. "Whenever or not she returned to the kingdom is the least of our concerns. We have a criminal on the loose, one who attacked one of the council members. If they are daring enough to do that, then who knows what else they'll do" she sighs and shakes her head. "We should be using our time, energy, and resources to catch this crook. Not worry about Maddy wanting to visit Tani... who by the way, almost died"

*Benton leaned more on his cane* I heard *Benton closed his eyes and looked down* Such a shame *Benton looked up at Sage with a devilish sneer* especially since you want me off the council, and she was your deciding vote. *Benton saw Sage's jaw clench. He straightened up and used his cane to tip his hat* Good day to you. *Benton began to walk away but before he was out of Sages earshot, he said one last thing while walking away* I'd sure he a shame if she died of her injuries *Benton turned the corner and vanished into the crowd*

Sage curses under her breath. She takes a step back, ready to warn Blossom. But when she turns around, she spots Blossom a distance away from her. "Please tell me that you heard that" Sage tells Blossom. "We'll need to make sure there is someone by Tani at all times, and I'm not talking about guards. I trust Gwen's judgment... but not enough. This is far too important for multiple reasons. We need people who we can trust guarding her"

Blossom nodded. "Every word. I can stay with her, it's my house after all." Blossom frowned. "I've been thinking alot about what Tani was saying about war and Maddy and silver. The first two make sense, a possible impending war and Maddy being her lover, but what about silver? Do you think she caught a glimpse of silver on whoever did this to her?"

Sage nods. "That has to be the case. Some silver clothing maybe?" She sighs and shakes her head. "No.. Tani is smarter than that, if she were going to warn us about the person who did it, she defiantly wouldn't pick to describe clothing. It had to be a tattoo or something"

"What about eye color? You can always change your clothes and hair and remove your tattos, but not your eyes." Blossom frowned and rubbed the back of her head in thought. "I dont know, I'm just spouting random things out and hoping they make sense to Tani's attack. Would it be a problem if you keep an eye on Emi and Tani back at the house while I quick get more burn medicne for Tani?"

Gwen's gaze meets Dylan's right as Blossom points out the fact about eye color She doesn't react, at least until she turns away from Dylan. Her heart speeds up. No, he defiantly didn't do it Gwen thinks to herself. Dylan has zero reason to attack Tani. He has more reasons to protect her rather than try and kill her. This train of thought helps but Gwen at ease. "It has to be eye color" Gwen responds. "Benton has a silver eye... remember that"

"We don't mind watching Tani and Emi" Sage answers.

Blossom nodded and hurried off to the shops. "I'll be back as soon as I can!"

Emi woke up with a yawn and got dressed slowly with her injured leg hampering her. Once up she carefully made her way downstairs to where Tani was, not entering the room but merely just checking in on her.

*Dylan looked at Sage* Why dont you watch Emi and I watch Tani? After all, between the two of us, only one knows how to properly handle a sword. Plus, it splits the load

She the heard something from behind her* You know, you should really hold off on hitting yourself *Madfy drew her sword and quickly turned around to see Talla standing there. Maddy began to shake upon seeing her* I killed you. *Talla chuckled and shook her head* But you didn't kill me. *Maddy looked at Talka in a confused manner* What are you talking about?
