Out came an Emolga, she loved it intstantly.

Jack looks at Shieldon and smiles "Come on buddy, let's go find some Pokemon." Shieldon gives Jack a wide grin as it follows him to the tall grass. "So Shieldon, keep your eyes peeled for a black kitty. I got a rumor there's one around here somewhere."

Suddenly, a Grubbin crawled over nearby. “Hi there, little guy.” Aria said gently. “Can you help me?” The Grubbin nodded. “All right! Use String Shot on here!” They went to work, and soon the knocked-down pillar was fixed. “Thanks, dude!” Aria said with a smile to the Grubbin. An empty pokeball fell off her belt without her noticing.

Toro sighed, then decided she would let her drifloon practice it’s moves. “Drifloon,” she said, “use Minimize.” Drifloon looked confused for a second, then began to shrink. It grew to half it’s size, and Toro smiled. She was proud of her drifloon for pulling it off this well first time, and decided she should give it a nickname. She stroked it, gentler than usual, so as to not swat it from the sky in it’s smaller form, and decided. “I’m going to call you Drifter. That okay?” She asked, smiling. The drifloon nuzzled her with approval.
