Siegfried made a sign for Exalon to stop. Exalon didn't want to, so Siegfried said:

"I swear to God, Exalon, if you don't stop describing that I'll read Voldo's diary to you."

Exalon instantly stopped.

"Finally" Isake muttered under her breath. Owin nodded slightly to Isake and Vestige was now pondering things. Relic stopped growling but didn't stop glaring at Exalon.

Relic and Vestige were laying on the ground with the Rusted Sword and Rusted Shield laying next to them. Both were now in their Hero of Many Battles form.

Siegfried said:

"Well, think about it logically. You can't be the traitor, otherwise you'd have let Temporus finish Vestige off and blame it on the Shades. I can't be the traitor because I came here after the incidents with Temporus and the Shades. The dark one, the one that you blamed, Elestra, has simply disappeared into thin air. Nell, the Lugia, was too wounded to cause this. That leaves either Isake and Relic or Owin and Vestige, or possibly both."

Scriptus said:

"No, there's another one- Destral, the Yveltal. If the power of darkness made me suspicious, how about the power of death? Anyway, there is one simple method to test them. Attack them and see how they react."

Siegfried nodded and grabbed his sword. He motioned to Exalon to follow him as he prepared his attack.

Relic noticed the other Pokemon preparing their attacks. It picked up the Rusted Sword and became it's Crowned Sword form once more. Isake and Owin didn't notice. Vestige looked up, surprised but didn't do anything.

Exalon blasted at Relic while Siegfried charged forth with his sword raised. He said:

Isake and Owin jumped up with their swords drawn. Relic used Behemoth Blade and Vestige quickly picked up the Rusted Sheild and became its Crowned Shield form once more. It prepared Behemoth Bash but not before telling its Knights and Relic that it had thought that the other group was here just to kill innocents.

Temporus and Scriptus looked from afar. Temporus said:

"Umm... Scriptus?"

Scriptus asked:

"What?"

Temporus said:

"Shouldn't it be obvious that he's not really trying to kill them? If he was, he'd summon the Shinger on them."

Scriptus said:

"Darn, you're right! To make it less obvious, we're going down there too! You take Vestige, it's already afraid of you. I take its knight, and Siegfried and Exalon are left to settle their targets themselves!"

Scriptus and Temporus entered the battle too, Temporus attacking Vestige and Scriptus slashing Owin.

Owin slashed at Scriptus. "You know, I agree with you right now!" He said to Vestige. Vestige gave a nod to acknowledge Owin before using Crunch on Temporus. Relic used Moonblast on Exalon while Isake slashed at Siegfried.

Siegfried grabbed his giant sword, Faust, and struck Isake with it. Temporus was suddenly right in front of Vestige, having pulled a trick on time, and blasted it point blank. Exalon fired his own blast at Relic, while Scriptus was simply anticipating Owin's moves and countering them. Temporus sent a mental message to Exalon:

"They're so stupid that they can't even realize that we're all just testing them!"

Exalon didn't reply, as he didn't want to give away their real motivation.

Vestige was blasted into a tree behind them. Relic dodged Exalon's attack and used Moonbast again. Isake winced but continued to fight, not wanting Relic to get distracted by her wounds. Owin slashed at Scriptus again. Vestige was starting to get up but instead of going for Temporus, it used Close Combat on Scriptus.

Temporus used the opportunity to ram into Vestige, then prepared his finisher, but switched to a weaker attack after a glare from Scriptus. Exalon then switched targets to Isake, hitting her with a blast and sending her straight into one of Siegfried's attacks. Exalon then returned to fighting Relic. Scriptus then said quietly:

"Why do you think we didn't just send the Shinger after you?"
That's why I said 'Hey, man, nice shot!'

Isake weakened and collapsed. Relic saw and backed towards its knight. Vestige growled as it was hit by Temporus. It felt its strength going quickly and was trying to hold its ground as long as possible. Owin took a wild guess. "Two reasons: 1. You don't want to have to recatch it. 2. You are testing us" He said in an equally quiet voice.

Temporus suddenly stopped attacking, as did Exalon, and Siegfried stabbed his sword into the ground, suddenly healing everyone. Siegfried remembered something:

"Wait, it was two tests when you told me about this!"

Scriptus said:

"First test, I was testing their loyalty- they passed. They wouldn't let us get to innocents while they were still standing. Second, I was testing their strength. They passed. I never wanted them to beat us- I just wanted to see if they can put up with us in a fight, and they did well. However, the same tests that I gave them I also gave you, Siegfried. I wanted to see if you would actually try to harm Isake- you didn't, the Faust is just too unpredictable a weapon. As for strength, that was easily judged."

Vestige collapsed next to Owin. It hadn't fully recovered from the Shade fight yet so it was hurt pretty badly. Relic was laying next to Isake. Isake was very tired and hurt. Owin was stroking Vestige. He was quite upset at the other knights for hurting his friends and sister.

Siegfried's sword started glowing and it fully healed the others. Siegfried said:

"You really thought I'd have left you all like that? Take this as an apology for the fight. I don't know if Scriptus planned anything to help you, but here you go."

Scriptus said:

"How dare you imply that I didn't have a plan to help them after the fight?!"

Siegfried asked him:

"What was your plan?"

Scriptus said:

"Well..."

Isake walked over to Owin and Vestige. Relic followed her. They waited until the other two knights stopped talking to say thank you to Siegfried for healing them even though it wouldn't be necessary seeing as how he started the fight.
