(oooh shoot im so sorry I just had a flight and I'm running on like 0.2 hours of sleep from two days ago hhhh)

A moment paused before one single clone charged forwards, its spear pointed towards the ground. One was coming from the left too, far behind.

Nova had an idea, she sent a beam of radiation towards the two cones, then charged towards Maddox, she needed to attack him too of course, but these darned clones.

The first clone pounded the spear into the ground and sprung up, the clone behind it being destroyed but that one coming in to land. The point of the spear was approaching quickly, so the clone spun the point so the side of the blade was swinging close. Maddox himself managed to slide left to avoid the beam.

(I'm sorry everyone, I'll try and be here as much as I can ;;)

Nova managed to avoid anything fatal, but the blade did cause a good gash on her arm. When the clone swung again she deflected the blade with a small shield and sent a kick to the clone, turning it to dust. As for Maddox, she turned to him and trapped him in a dome, nothing fatal, just to prevent him from moving around. He was slippery she'd give him that, but she needed to plan a way to actually land some blows, his clones didnt help anything either.

He was surprised the dome reached him from all the way accross the battlefield. He tried to stab his spear through it, starting from the top and ripping it down the centre. Feeling satisfied. Two clones met his side, unmoving and watching her closely.

Maddox tried to rip it down, but it was like stabbing air, making no progress. Nova checked her gash quickly, blood lightly seeping from it but nothing to fatal. When she was seemingly distracted the two clones charged at her, Nova waited for them to get close enough before stomping her foot on the ground, a small ring radiated from where she stomped and turned the two to dust, but faded after.

Now for Maddax. She put her hands in front of her, a green ball starting to form. She was charging, he realized. After a few seconds she sent it towards Maddox, the ball hit the dome, the forced throwing Maddox out and into the arena wall with a CRACK.

He pounded his spear into the ground, dragging it with him to lessen the impact. Even still, it really did hurt. For a moment his shoulder blades felt broken, though they weren't. Giving himself a quick shake, three clones appearing in front of him. They lobbed their spears in her direction, one at her directly, and the other two at both sides.

Nova could've sent up a shield of sorts, but there wouldn't have been time with them speeding closer. Instead she ducked, letting the spears hit each other rather than her. Standing up she trapped the three new clones and Maddox each in a separate sphere then willed the four spheres and the contents inside to collide with each other.

The clones stabbed their spears through them, turning themselves into dust. Maddox himself was slammed by the spheres, making him cough up a bit of blood. His ears roared as he charged up to Nova, three clones suddenly at his side. One clone was far ahead, the others behind it. The one in the lead tried to slide into her ankle, spear aiming to draw blood.

The clone missed her ankle, but plunged the spear though her calf as Nova moved away. Nova gave a cry of pain because holy ish it hurt like hell. She bent down and snapped the spear in half, allowing her to at least walk without blood gushing all over, then pulled her dagger out from her hip pocket and slashed at the clone that had just stabbed her, turning it to dust. She started pumping some of her power into the dagger, giving the blade an eerie green glow.

That dagger looked dangerous, but unless he saw anything too flashy he thought he would be fine. Her wounds looked pretty dangerous so he thought evading would help, however it would be difficult considering her power could hit him anywhere at all. The best offence was defence. The clones were made near him, one in front and the other at each side. They ran for a bit and jumped, all three going in for an areal attack at different angles. Maddox was still on the other side of the field.

(Im sorry I was busy with work/preparing for fair on labor day weekend and must've missed the response! I'm sorry!)

Nova threw up a shield around herself to block the clones' areal attack, she took a step, testing her leg to see if it would hold her own weight. When it appeared to be mostly stable though incredibly sore and bleeding, she sent a blast towards Maddox on either side of him, then a quick blast down the middle towards him.

Maddox jumped and avoided the blast, summoning a clone above him to throw at Nova, throwing his spear towards Nova while shooting towards her. Maddox landed on the ground and sent another clone charging in along the centre of the battlefield.

Nova watched the spear get closer to her then side stepped, she couldn't dodge the spear and the clone though so when the clone approached her she gave a swift kick to the knees, turning him to dust. The clone cahrging along the center of the battle feild whipped out his spear and sent a gash along her arm. She blasted him as well, then sent a quick beam to Maddox
