“She should wake up, but I don’t know how quickly, if at all, she
can resume her warrior duties. That broken leg is going to be a
pain.” Echoshade sighed, glancing back at Ravenstorm who was still
fighting.
“We should stick around to heal Ravenstorm, let’s share this rabbit
that fell down here.” Echoshade tore into the rabbit, taking a
small piece and eating it.
“It was just a sinking feeling..nothing more...do you ever get
that? When you feel that something bad has happened and you just
know it?” Dawnpaw mewled plaintively
“I would! You can sense fights Dawnpaw! I’m sure of it. Maybe it’s
just heightened aggression or something else but I’m sure of it.”
She was getting incredibly excited, her tail against her
apprentice.
“You won’t treat me any differently will you..?” Dawnpaw shuffled
nervously. “I just...want to keep it normal...maybe a pare...” he
stopped himself. He saw her more as a parent now
“Falconfeather needs to talk to our leader.” He growled.
“No of course not. This is incredibly exciting, StarClan chose you
to carry a gift! This is big for WindClan! For us! For you!” She
meowed happily, smiling at Dawnpaw.
“Thank you. And I will do the same with all I can.” She meowed in
response, turning to the battle and frowning, lowering her head.
“He’s always so rash. When will he learn outnumbering can make you
lose easily?”
