Unfortunately, there wouldn't really be any other reason besides being for 'memorial moments'; some user don't care about these types of moments.

Adding more; when it already has 'Obtained Date', would just be unnecessary.

Now if they changed 'Obtained Date', to something else; or have a way to turn off this type of thing, then sure. Otherwise, no.
