A buzz on her phone alerted her to a text sent by Kuro. It was quite long and it said, Hey are u okay? I noticed u've had a lot on you're plate and Dwen came back saying u were snapping at her. I'm not mad, but I am very worried about u. Poor Naomi's been sleeing all day. Luv u always Kuro and there's breakfast.

Naomi woke up in her room and immediately pushed her blankets aside. Quietly as she could, she pushed the window open and leaped out. She had to do this fast so Kuro didn't notice she was gone. She had inherited wings from her father, and she immediately flew away to the east. She reached the bad part in seconds. Lets just do this fast..

Angora glanced at the message, but didn’t respond. She kind of jolted as her brother approached, quickly turning off her phone. “Did you do what you needed to?” He asked softly.

Naomi slipped through the dingy, run-down shops trying not to make eye contact with anyone. She dodged near an alley and saw a silver-haired man and several people laughing roughly. She made eye contact with them and flinched, wings flaring up
