Kassaini catches the water bottle and sighs, “I need to get weapons. I...” She sits down and sighs, “Why am I even here? I’m literally useless to everyone. Maybe I’ll stay here.”

Knox watches Kassaini for a moment, “Hey Ryot, I’ll be back in a bit. I need to cheer up my sister, she needs me.”

Iclyn sighs, “How long are we staying here?”

Ilyce hums and starts to calm down to her normal attitude, “I’m sorry for that. I didn’t realize that I missed it so much.”

“No it’s not, I’m a bigger danger to the kids than I thought I would be. Your at least able to be level headed still.” Ilyce leans against Flicker, “You deserve better than this.”

Knox smiles and heads over to Kassiani, “Ani, are you okay? I never knew you could run that fast. Why did you leave the group? Did something happen before?” He takes a seat next to her, “Talk to me sis.”

Kassiani just shakes her head, “I spewed information. I got embarrassed. I ran away. Also, congratulations on your new relationship, he looks nice.”

Knox places and then blushes, “He is nice. You’re still doing this whole I can survive without another person thing. You want to make friends, so be yourself, that’s what you always told me.” Knox puts an arm around her shoulders, “Spewing information isn’t bad, unless they really didn’t want it. And he said thank you, I heard him. And ignore the other girl, she’s just looking for someone to bother.”

Kassaini takes out her switchblade and stabs the snake through the head pinning it to the ground, “What snake?”

Knox sighs and goes back to Ryot, “She’s unreachable right now. But she’ll come around. She likes you though.” He gives his boyfriend a smile.

Ilyce gives Flicker a kiss, “Now you’re being mushy. That’s not going to help us survive this.”

Iclyn runs into the cave using the axe to light the way as she goes deeper inside. Suddenly after a few turns she skids to a halt, “Wait, does he have a kid?”

jack walked into the cave, and heard that she asked that. "i once did. i killed him, because he stole something...his son killed my wife, so i had to take revenge...i killed my grandson.." said jack, looking at iclyn.

Iclyn takes a step back, "You know that's not something to say to a little girl you followed into a cave." She drops the axe, bolting into the darkness behind her.

Kassaini pulls the switchblade out of the snakes head, "I guess this is close to a whip. Not quite what I'm used to, a vine would be better than this." She looks at the snakes teeth, "But I can use these as darts or something."

Knox laughs, "I don't think she can actually hate anyone. But she likes it when the people she cares about are happy. And you make me happy."
