Locus arrives at the park, he puts on another costume and sits on a bench, watching for trouble. Overall, it's very boring. Nothing happens except a kid taking the occasional trip and fall. "Where are all the villains?" Locus wonders.

Devin made her way down the street, hands tucked into her pockets, hair pulled up in a messy bun instead of its usual ponytail. She kicked a rock as she walked, watching it skid down the sidewalk.

Part of her hoped she would be caught. It wasn’t like she was doing much anyway, just a grocery run.

Because some idiot decided to steal all her marshmallows, and she wasn’t having any of that. She’d just buy more, poison a few, and leave them out for whatever unlucky soul decided to steal them again. What a villain. She still felt gross from sleeping with socks on.
