Glacius came over and let out a soft curse. "Oh god...okay it's infected." he felt Ashton's forehead, "And your burning up. You need to lay down. I'll get you some...marigold, lavender and poppy seeds to help you recover. Stay here." Glacius went over to his pack of herbs and pulled out several yellow and purple flowers, as well as some dark seeds. "That bite was poisonous." He gives the seeds to Ashton, "This will have to work as a sedative for sleep. eat up."

He then using a stick and a rock starts to grind the herbs into a poultice.

Lunara came over to Aurelia, "Okay first of all, how did you know we were here? How did you know these huts were here?"

"Simple. Me and Nicola worked our butts off to do this. And we were the ones who marked the huts and the weapons reloading places. We've come to rescue you from this place." Aurelia's voice was as cold and sleek as ice.

"But...why? This place is perfect." Lunara cried out

Aurelia lunged forward in anger, "Yes. That's the problem. Real life, glass half empty/full is never ever perfect. It's crappy and messed up, okay? That's what....that's the price of Halo X's stupid-ass mission."

"Halo X?" Lunara asked curiously

"Yeah....Halo. They're trying to make a new home. A new earth. And as a result, they've bombed the literal living out of half a billion people. Torn families apart. Killed people. Destroyed infrastructure. And for what you call perfection." Aurelia snarled the last word, "Believe me...real life is far far from perfect."

"Did they, hurt you?"

"yes. And Nicola too." Aurelia sighed and traced a raven-shaped scar on her forehead, "That's the only aspect remaining of my family. My clan--as I called them. All dead now." Her eyes shone with grief and rage and sorrow, "Only Glacius remains."

"Glacius--glacius is family---to you?"

"He's my younger brother. Scarred as I am."

Leah felt something licking her face, but didn't wake up until it kept licking her. 'What the heck? What is licking my face? Where am I? Who am I?' Leah thinks and then sits up straight and opens her eyes. She sees the animal, but doesn't know what it is. "Uhhhhh, hey ummm animal?" Leah says while looking at the dog. ",wait, no that isn't right.....Oh, oh, come on I know this.....KAY!" The dogs licks Leah's face in excitement. Leah smiles and makes Kay stop licking her and calm down. Leah stands up in the wierd environment, "where are we?" She asks herself. Leah and Kay walks in the direction Leah sees, but Kay hears voices and stops, so Leah stop as well.

"Glacius was in the military too, with us." Nicola said. "And do you know what happened to your abdomen Nikaah? You were a slave. They brainwashed you and took away our family. They took over you, and sent you and the others to Earth 2-as slaves."
Nikaah rubbed her abdomen. She felt it burning."Can you tell me more about me?"

They were interrupted by a girl and her pet, who were confused and probably lost.

Nikaah had her bow ready.
Nicola asked- "Who sent you? Or are you like them?" she said whilst pointing to Nikaah and the others.

"Well if I got sent then I don't remember, so I guess I'm like them. Honestly I don't even know. So you guys friend or foe?" Leah says while grabbing a little sword thingy. Kay gets in a stance ready to attack just in case. Leah smirks, but on the inside thinking on how to attack just in case.

Nicola felt relieved. "Down, Nikaah."
She smiled at the girl. "What's your name?"

Leah let's go of the sword thingy. "Well give me your name first, and then you may get mine."
Kay sits watching.

Nicola smirked. "Adorable. I'm Nicola Calihn, leader of the rebellion."

Leah smirks and says, "Well nice to meet you, Nicole ,the name's Leah Sin and this is my dog Kay." Kay gets up and stands proudly.

Aurelia nods, "I'm Aurelia Silvera, second in command of the rebellion. Please get some water and settle in. Do you need a healer? The white-haired boy is named Glacius--he's my brother, the violet-eyed girl is named Lunara, the injured boy is Ashton and yeah."

She came over to Nicola, "You think these guys will be able to---"

There was a sudden roar and Aurelia paled, "Oh god."

She rushed outside, just as a massive space cruiser came into view. Halo.

Nicola gasped. "Already?" She whispered a curse word under her breath. She turned to the clueless group. "We're going to the weapons facility and arm up. Any doubts?"

Nikaah felt frightened. She clasped her arm around Nicola's arm. "Whatever is happening?" she said in an angry tone.

Nicola ignored her. "Come on."

Aurelia yelled for the kids to follow and they reach the weapon facility.

Aurelia smiles grimly as Glacius arms himself with the fighting knives of their culture.
Lunara gives herself some more arrows. She went over to Nikaah, "Hey. We can do this. Don't be afraid."
Aurelia nods, checking the 6 knives and two swords that she had brought with her.

The voices of the Halo Operatives reached their ears.

"fan out." Aaron said smoothly, "I want them found."

Nicola took a sword for herself.
"Even with these weapons we probably won't be much as a hindrance to them. We need to find an exit portal now!" she turned toward Nikaah. "Call Lupa, won't you?"

Nikaah was confused. "Lupa-Lupa..." she paused in deep thinking. "Lupa! My pet!" Nikaah remebered Lupa and whistled a tune.
"Lupa's here?"
"I'm not sure, I mean, Leah did come with her pet..." Nicola said.
They heard a howl and running. Then an enormous wolf came out of nowhere and nearly knocked Nikaah down.

Lunara frowned and let out a shrill series of whistles.
An white wolf, Moon, pounds to her side, and bows. "Did I mention i have a pet as well?" Lunara smiles

Moon however nudges her way to Lupa and growls, posturing regally. Clearly putting herself up as Alpha.

Lunara shrugs as her wolf doesn't do that.

"Aldri must have left a sign by now...if they haven't caught him already." Nicola whispered, taking a look at Nikaah's map.
"Who's Aldri?" Nikaah asked as she felt her quiver with all kinds of bows-normal, explosive and incendiary(produces fire)
"Our techie genius" she said smiling.

Suddenly a dagger nearly impales Aurelia to the wall. It pins the wall with a swift thump.

Aurelia's eyes turn cold. And Glacius's. As their traitorous brother appeared, already readying another knife.

"Been a while Lia." Aaron says coldly. His soldiers appeared behind him; 15 of them.

Leah and Kay follows them and finds a axe along with a scythe. "I think I can work with this." Leah whispers to herself while Kay sniffs the place. Leah heard the voices and got the axe out, and put the scythe in her jacket. She saw a a knife hit someone and look at the men, with excitement.

"RUN."
Nicola had finally found the exit portal. "Aldri, you genius."

"Aww, I wanted to fight, but ok" Leah says but then grabs a random weapon and hit a guy in the arm. "Opps my hand slip." Leah and Kay then run out of the facility and laugh while doing it. They head to tree and stay behind it waiting for the others.

Nikaah heard noise behind her. The soldiers were armed, with high tech guns.
"We stand no chance..."
She took one of her explosive arrows and shot them, aiming at the soldier nearest to her.

BAM!

Leah and Kay don't see the others so they head to the weapon facility and saw some mean. Leah got her dagger and then ran up the two of the mean and starts to fight them. "Well looks like I chosen good people to fight." Leah says, Kay was sneaking up the men . Leah jump back and put her dagger away, she grab her scythe and charge at the men.
