Connor yelped and nearly tripped over his own feet, catching
himself quickly. “It’s Mira’s?” Green eyes widened. “It could have
fallen during the fight?” He offered nervously.
“In here?” Connor frowned. “Maybe outside, in case it freaks out?”
He suggested cautiously as his eyes rested on the pokeball again.
“.. Do you recognize this one?” He asked slowly.
"I don't recognize it, no. Mira doesn't label her pokeballs
anymore, since she just remembers them all," Colin sighed.
"...Yeah. I'll let it out outside. C'mon," He jogged down the hall
and went for the door.
Lion and Snow nodded as they followed Colin out of the hospital.
Lion looked in the direction of the pokemon center and noticed
Cyndaquil was healed and was waiting for Tiger. He walked over to
the starter and picked the pokemon up deciding to let Cyndaquil
just relax with the others and not see how bad Tiger was yet.
Connor yawned and tailed after Colin at a slightly slower pace,
though it was fast enough to get him outside within a respectable
timeframe. “Okay. Go for it, if you’re ready.” He said blearily,
rubbing his eyes.
Jamie and Robert followed the others out and Jamie shifted JJ over
to Robert. "So rest and figure everything out in the morning."
Jamie mused to Robert.
"Sounds good. How you doing ice pop?" Robert asked him.
"Good, once I add a layer." Jamie answered causing Robert to snort.
Cyndaquil nodded in response to Faye and offered her a forced
smile. He saw Hori and jumped out of Lion's grasp to greet the
Ralts. "Hori! Are you alright?" He asked in concern.
Lion blinked ans smiled faintly as he looked at Cyndaquil. "He's
definitely like his trainer." He mumbled to Faye softly.
"I'm fine," Hori blinked in surprise. "What're you guys
doing here? Where's Mira? She hasn't let me out since her and Tiger
went to get on the boat. Are we on the mainland?"
Colin blinked. "Wow. Okay. So at least we know one of her
pokemon is okay."
“.. Somehow, I’m already feeling better knowing that Hori isn’t
there.” Connor remarked seriously, though a small smile cracked
through. “At least he’s okay.”
Cyndaquil sighed and looked at Colin for a moment. "Uh were not
on the mainland...I'll um tell you the story tomorrow?" He said
nervously.
Lion nodded in agreement with Connor. "Same here Condor." Snow
muttered quietly and tapped his chin to try and find a way to
lighten the mood. "Uh in other news I found out Snow isn't my real
name." He said sheepishly.
