I would choose Serperior because it is my all-time favorite
If not that...
I would choose Reshiram not just because it is my favorite Dragon type, but I also just think it's awesome ^^

Hrm... Decisions. Only one? Well I suppose if it's one...
Dialga. Who knows, maybe going back in time with such a potent pokemon could result in the rest of them appearing? Palkia would eventually come around simply because of the intense rivalry, then Giratina attracted to the fight, and then Arceus because of Giratina's arrival.
Go far enough back and BAM! Pokemon world!
