Rosi blinked and turned towards Piani. She nodded, and began to float towards Piani. A lot of thoughts were swirling in Rosi's head, so she had decided not to talk for now.

Piani nodded at Rinku. She looked at the scattered tables and computers. "...Just a second."

She ran over to the tables and set a few up, taking the computers. She lifted a few moniters up and positioned them together.

Within a few minutes, Piani had set up a 'workshop' to work on weapons and repair things. "There. That should be okay. Let's go."

In this chaos, she didn't notice Amara's reaction.

(if you want to give your characters 'special skills' like that, go on ahead. Just make sure they make sense [like Piani being a technological genius])

(Everyone is taking shelter in an abandoned building in the abandoned city. Piani, Rinku, and Rosi are heading out to explore)

"We won't!" Piani called as she got on Rush Jet once more, and approached the broken window from which they entered. "Everyone who wants to come, get on!"

Rosi carefully climbed onto Rush. She couldn't float more than just above the ground. Why am I so useless? was the thought that kept echoing in her head.

Amara looked at the small hole with a confused look "was this from the explosion? no, it's too small..." she muttered. How did I not notice it before? she thought.

Rush took off and they glided through the city. The streets were cracked and parts of asphalt were missing. Not a building was completely intact. "What happened...?" Piani muttered. She cleared her throat. "We should explore some buildings, right?"

Rinku nodded in agreement and looked around to see if he could recognize anything in this town. "Honestly it might be the best bet. There could be food or medicine in some of these buildings and if we're staying here it'll be our best bet to be stocked" he muttered.

Piani passed a huge-looking store, purple and yellow paint on each half on the building faded. A broken neon sign was unlit above it, and the only legible word was 'cap'. She landed on the sidewalk. "I guess we can all individually take a building, if that works."

The interior of the room is just as bright--or, more accurately, was just as bright--as the outside. It seemed to be a shop that sold trinkets and souvenirs--as well as hats and clothing. They even had bumper stickers.

Piani went up the steps to the break room of the office (or, at least, that was her best guess as to what it was) with Rush by her side. She yawned slightly and searched the cabinets.

The shelves were lined with bobbleheads of a woman with bright blue eyes in a red suit. They were dusty, but seemed to work fine. There is an empty space on the very back of the shelf that is empty; in fact, it could have been taken recently. Dust does not rest on the shelf in one place that is shaped like a crescent.

(Rinku, Rosi, and Piani decided to explore the city)
