Andromeda followed behind the others, slipping the book of
children’s tales into her jacket as she walked by the shelves. She
pulled her coat tightly around her as the Cold air embraced her
outside. She observed the area, interested by the new sights.
Lucia shivered at the sudden cold that hit when they went outside.
She tucked her hands back into her pockets and pulled her hood up,
looking around curiously.
Kat walked outside not at all concerned about the cold air. He then
walked down the road until they showed up at an old, and abandoned
house. The paint had chipped from the stone, and the door hung
broken in place. Kat walked inside, and went to the fireplace near
the back of the main room.
Andromeda stepped inside, careful not to disturb the old broken
door. Debris crunched under her feet as she walked further inside.
“ How do you know about this place?”, she asked Kat, coming near to
area the fireplace.
Kat looked over "I use to come into town at times, and one day I
got into a fight with a local hunter. I fled, and found this place.
It's well hidden so the other hunters don't come near it" he said
distractedly and began to light a fire.
Lucia nodded. "That's cool. And in more ways than one." She added,
blowing on her hands. "Seriously. If I get out of this with all my
fingers, it'll be a miracle. Stupid humans and their lack of fur."
Andromeda laughed, “ but we aren’t human, “ she pointed out. She
laid her large jacket on the floor, with her book wrapped inside,
and transformed into her wolf form. She sighed as her thick black
fur covered her body. ”That’s better, “, she said.
Kat managed to light the fire. He then walked over to the old
cabinet, and pulled out a blanket. "Here, Lucia. It's the only one
here" he said, and dropped it next to her. He then took his coat
off, and turned into a tiger where he used his coat as a sort of
cushion.
Kanti sat down, her hair curling over her shoulders. Her eyes
widened. The tips were white, fading into brown. She snickered.
"Yup. Already got my winter coat," She boasted, pushing her hair
behind her shoulders once more. "This is nice," She purred,
stretching out in front of the fire.
(Hey whatever happened to that Arctic wolf guy who was gonna
join??)
Andromeda looked around at the others settling in for the night.
She thought to herself not to enjoy this moment too much. That’s
when things always went wrong.
Kanti shrugged and pulled a blanket over her arms, not bothering to
change back into a fox. She'd be too hot, anyway. "I love the
colors, but I prefer orange."
