Androemda leaned back her chair, still examining the phone. She
shrugged,” I know guys. “ she said, “ and, maybe a few others, here
and there...though they don’t have phones either.”
Lucia reached over to pat his shoulder. "Don't worry about it." She
said lightly. "None of us plan on dying anytime soon. And I'll do
everything I can to make sure everyone gets where they're going in
one piece."
Kat nodded, and smiled slightly "thanks" he said softly, and looked
at his plate. He had finished the food "whenever you're ready we
can head off and give these burgers to Androemda and Kanti"
Androemda eyed Kanti, “ This is very special. A small box, yes, but
you can communicate with anyone you like. No matter how far,” she
said, sliding the phone across the table,” That’s very special,
Indeed, “ she said, quietly.
“ Never take that fancy technology for granted, “ Andromeda said. “
so...do you know where the others went? I wonder if they got lost
in this place...”, She said, looking around the bookshelves.
“ hmm, “ Andromeda mumbled in response. She crossed her arms,
burying her hands in the folds of her oversized jacket. “ I wish
everyone would stay together,” she said.
"Oh, thanks! I was starting to get hungry," She smiled and passed
the other bag to Andromeda, keeping the other for herself. "So
that's where you went?"
Andromeda looked into the bag, astonished, “ Wow, thank you, this
is very considerate of you,” she said, looking at Kat. She opened
the bag and began to devour its contents.
