They're also up for adoption! (Prices can be negotiated, feel free to message me)
(I do hope its okay I link the lair tab itself as thats easier for me on phone.)
If you don't have any level 25 dragons, I would recommend using this guide to level a team of 3 dragons up to 25. Note that the guide hasn't been updated in a while to include some new venues or venue additions, but it should still work as intended for the things listed there.
If you already have level 25 dragons, you can use any venue starting with Boreal Wood to gain experience. If you only have one at 25, it may already have stats to use it as a Mire flyer. That would mean you can take it and two unlevelled dragons to the Mire and train them up.
If you have a set of two dragons at 25, you can use them to train one unlevelled dragon in the Kelp Beds.
All of the above requires that your level 25 dragons have the appropriate battle stones, especially an Eliminate. There are other ways to use the coli somewhat effectively without Eliminates, but I don't have experience with those. You can find out about any of these stats and stone setups if you look through the Guide forum and search for coli "builds".
I have one mire flyer that i used to use to train dragons, my oldest-owned level 25 in my lair.
Then i have a team of 3 general farmer dragons, that are quite good for the kelp beds as well i believe - if im doing any long-term farming, chances are i'll be using them.
Then i have my two workshop warriors & workshop mage/healer, obviously for the golem workshop, but also good for the forbidden portal. These ones i also use for training fodder or levelling dragons in general in golem workshop [1 warrior, 1 mage, then the trainee]
I think i have one other level 25 that i got in a trade when i was looking for trading my level 25s that don't match the colour theme of my lair for ones that did, that isn't the same build as any of the others [idk the build honestly XD] but i don't even use him anyway so it doesn't matter.

For example, one of my own dragons:

He has been a Imperial with rather unspectacular genes before and changing him up like this was a little over 2500 Gems.
You could also try to get a pretty Breeding Pair that'll give you some pretty Hatchlings. But that can be quite the journey too. Finding the perfect Breeding Pair, I mean.
Anyway, keeping an eye out in the AH isn't wrong either, sometimes you get really cool dragons there for fodder prices.
You could also look in the Dragons For Sale forums for any hatcheries that people are running, or just for some dergs that they don't really need.
@Tesoro Yeah, gene scrolls can be pretty expensive, and I usually try not to go with gem genes on my dergs' plans unless I think they fit that derg. The only big gene plan I actually completed was for my current avatar derg, Bucciarati, who started out looking like this, but got regened (now has Jag/Clouded/Lace, plus inno eyes) after I sold a light halo in the AH.

@Tesoro aaaa the dragons are so cute!
I bred some dragons of my own, with the dragons I bought/got from others. May I ask, how much is a dragon worth? as in, how do I check the value of it?
In case you want to see it, my little lair
Depends on how popular a gene[-combo] is, if there's a new gene/breed they often go for more for a little while after release, how well the colours match - sometimes doubles/triples go for more but not always as some combos are really common, and how much you personally value a dragon, really. If you think a dragon's worth 50kt, you can try putting it up for 50kt but it's not guaranteed to sell because other people might not think it's worth that much.
So it's kinda, there's no "one way" to check the value of a dragon.
