Dragon Initiation
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Dragon InitiationAllia nodded. "Yeah. Please." She said quietly. Her eyes clouded as her unique power was put into action again. To dragons who didn't know what her power was, they would say she was just staring off into space. But she could see the past dragons that went through this area. She saw many more Air and Life dragons going through this area than the ones in front of her.
When she moved in the past, she didn't move in the real world. She looked around carefully in the past and began to look around. She wondered if she could take things from the past world and bring them back to the present. She grabbed a crystal from the ground, and then her eyes unclouded and she was in the present again. She saw that the crystal was still in her claws.

Winter merely moaned and kept his wings across his face. Firework gave him a sympathetic glance and turned back just in time to avoid smashing into the wall on the other side of the lake. "Oh, we made it!"
Allia quickly threw the crystal into the ravine, and waited for Dewdrop to finish going across the unstable part of the tunnel.
Dewdrop landed safely on the other side. "Okay, your turn Allia!"
Blaze looked over at Firework, his wings now tucked in at his sides. "Let's dive under the lava and swim under the lava all the way back. That way it won't be easy to bump into any other dragons." He explained.

When Allia heard their encouraging words bouncing down the tunnel, she thought she saw a part of the ground shift a tiny bit. I'm probably just getting paranoid. She thought. She took a deep breath and began to shoot across the unstable part of the tunnel. About halfway through, one of her talons snagged a rock, and she screamed as the rocks gave away beneath her. Rocks from the top of the tunnel came down as well, and soon the hole that Allia fell into was covered up again.
Allia's eyes were squeezed shut, obviously. When she opened them, she saw a huge web of plants holding up the rocks from the top of the tunnel, just inches from her face. It was surprisingly bright down here for a cave in. She carefully stood up and saw a tunnel. It was brightly lit up with torches. She began to go down the tunnel.
Sylvia let out a scream of horror but held back. "Ony don't move the rock might still be unstable."
Firework blinked open her eyes and let out an I audible gasp. Looking at Blaze, her mouth hung open with wonder.

If you're reading this,
You must've fallen in, too.
Don't worry,
I have too.
You can see my bones up ahead.
Shivers went down Allia's spine as a rock closed off the entrance to the tunnel. "Well, looks like I'm heading this way." She said quietly, slowly walking down the tunnel.
Blaze nodded with the same amazement in his eyes. He looked again and could see lobsters with fire patterns, as if blending into the lava. He also saw many small fish, this time with patterns looking like lava that was burning. So many vibrant colours of many different creatures passed both of them by.
Dewdrop heard no reply. "Oh please no...we have to dig her out," he said, his voice growing louder. "I can grow another web while we dig, to protect us but we have to get her out."
"We have to k-keep going. There's nothing we can do..." She sniffed, looking down at her claws.

The test for the newly initiated dragons.
You surely know it.
No doubt you were on your path before falling in here.
You know what they say.
Survival of the fittest.
Guess you weren't the fittest after all.
She shivered again, but kept moving. A feeling of dread came over here when she realized she had stepped on a cold, hard dragon bone. She quickly got off of it and saw more bones leading up the tunnel. So many dragons were killed here. But what could've killed them? She thought. She didn't want to waste time by using her powers, so she moved forward.
Blaze nodded. He looked on in complete amazement when he saw a stingray the colour of hardened lava slowly swim by. A few more stingrays of the same colour swam by. Even though they were a strange colour, it still looked amazing.
Sylvia landed gently next to them. "Come on," she said gently, tugging at his wing.
Firework gazed at a passing brown seahorse that she nearly mistook for a rock, floating under the passing stingrays. Her face was lighted with wonder and delight.

Up. Go up.
See your companions.
They won't be happy to see you.
Moron.
Idiot.
Why'd you even fall down in the first place?
She looked up and saw that there indeed was an opening. She jumped and dug her talons into the floor of the next tunnel, and pulled herself up. With a sigh, she realized this looked nothing like the tunnel she came from. She continued on.
Blaze looked and could see an octopus, the exact colour of the water, moving around on the wall on the other side of the lava. He looked ahead and saw that they were almost at the other shore.
Ony stopped, feeling the vibration. "What was that?" She called when it stopped, frowning. She put her head to the ground, listening.
