Cody sighed. Distant fighting noises had spoiled that day's hunting and she was hungry and tired. Thank goodness that fighting had stopped, or she would've been tempted to claw the ears off of any cat involved. She let out a dissatisfied hiss and looked for a place to spend the night.

Naga padded around before she scented two other wolves. She shook her head and kept going and she headed to try to find something to hunt.

Cody stopped at a bramble thicket under a pine. Crawling under, she purred appreciatively at the warmth the den provided compared to the cold wind of the forest. Curling up, she settled down to sleep.
