Squirtle heard where the gust was coming from just before he was hit he used a water gun.

Tiger stopped next to Heart and saw Lion, and Soul battling. "Lion always liked to battle" Tiger commented under his breath.

Gale walked along a different route through route 32, avoiding the others. She reached a cave and went inside.

Sandy is hit by the water gun and knocked back. "You're good.. better than I thought. But you're not going to break my winning streak!" Soul says. She hadn't noticed Heart and Tiger coming up.

"I wonder how long her winning streak is.." Heart mutters.

Lion smirked "thanks, but I'm not loosing to you" he said lowly Squirtle was panting slightly.

"Not sure how long her winning streak is, but She's going to win" Tiger said bluntly in a whisper to Heart.

Squirtle attempted to dodge, but was hit. He then fainted from the attacks and being underly trained.

Tiger then whispered back "maybe I can beat her...she might had training from her dad, but I have a bit of training as well...I mean I've known Cyndaquil for seven years" he said softly.

"Yes!" Soul says. She got out a notepad and went to a page, one side was a tally for wins, and the other side was for losses. There was none for losses, but four tallies for wins. She put a tally across the win tallies. "Five battles in a row."

She's way ahead of me! Heart thought. I haven't even had one trainer battle!

Tiger blinked and shook his head I'm not ready to battle her yet. I mean she has a water Pokemon, and I've got two fire types he thought to himself slightly. Lion looked over to Tiger as he returned the Squirtle "oh hey stripes did you finally make it here" he said mockingly at the boy. Tiger sighed "good to see you to" he replied kind, but slightly bitter.

Gale fought several zubats and dratini learned twister which was useful for not hurting herself while inflicting damage. "How much farther does this cave go?" She said her voice echoing on the walls.

Why are all rivals so kind... Tiger thought to himself bitterly. Lion then looked at Tiger "I'd battle you, but my squirt of a Pokemon failed" he said lowly growling. "Though I pm beating you next time we meet kitten" he said to Tiger with a growl, and walk away. Tiger muttered something under his breath before looking at Heart, and Soul.

Gale finally found her way out of the cave and onto route 31, "Hey look i think i can see bellsprout tower!" Gale said "Violet city should be up ahead as well."

Tiger looked over at Heart before saying softly. "It's best if you don't let your rival get to you. What I do is prove Lion wrong, and I always show him that even if I'm behind him. I can still beat him" he said kindly.

Tiger nodded as if he understood. "Lion has been a jerk to me since I came home from the forest" he said softly, but lowly as he if he wasn't meaning to say part of the sentence.

"Yeah" Tiger nodded in agreement, he was slightly relieved she didn't ask about what he meant. Tiger then continued to walk down route 30 and was heading to Violet City.
