A bunch of Unown flew up to them. They became to spell out something.

Tiger went into the gym, and looked around, "hello?" He called out his voice echoed through the building. He then took a step forward, and was brought up to the higher parts of the gym. He then saw Falkner. "Welcome to the gym. You're a bit later than most your friends" Falkner pointed out as he greeted Tiger. Tiger then looked at Cyndaquil. "We had some training, and a bit of evil team ambushes" he said bitterly. He then grabbed Dusk's pokeball. "Now I'm here, and I challenge you to a battle"

"Who's Team Shadow..?" Soul asked, but the Unown had dissapeared.

(I'm gonna pretend Heart saw Tiger enter and wanted to watch)
"Well, a friend of mine is having a gym battle now, and I want watch, do you wanna come?" She asks Aero.

Falkner nodded "alright, then let's battle" he said, and threw a pokeball. Pidgey then came out, and Tiger let Dusk out. "I see your charmander evolved, but that doesn't mean you'll win" Falkner said lowly and nodded. Tiger then looked at Dusk "start it off with a dragon claw" Tiger said swiftly. Dusk nodded and ran to Pidgey with dragon claw.

"Sure." Aero said. "Pidgey, swablu come on." Pidgey and swablu both flew to Heart's head to sit on it.

Pidgey got hit with dragon claw, and fell back. "Pidgey use wing attack" Falkner said quickly. Pidgey stopped falling, and spread its wings out. It then flew to Dusk Swiftly, "counter with flamethrower" Tiger said. Dusk nodded, and used flamethrower the two Pokemon got hit creating some smoke in the gym.

Heart walked into the gym. "Aw man we're late.." She says. She went up to the watching area.

Soul ran over to where Gale was.

Midday hid behind a wall in the ruins of alph, her hood over her head. She saw the two trainers.

Keith hopped over as well, Gale picked him up and climbed the ladder giving the torch to Keith.

Falkner coughed slightly, and growled to Pidgey "use gust to clear the smoke away" Pidgey nodded, and used gust. Tiger then thought for a moment he looked at the light from Dusk's tail. "Dusk quick dig" he said. Dusk nodded and dug into the ground. The smoke cleared away and Dusk was no where to be seen.

Soul went up the ladder. Midday watched. 'Who's Team Shadow?' They ask... She laughs darkly to herself. Perhaps you'll find out soon..

"Where" Falknee growled, Pidgey then laughed "ground type moves don't hit flying types" he said mockingly to Tiger. Tiger then narrowed his eyes "now" he said to Dusk the charmeleon then emerged behind Pidgey, and used a flamethrower. The Pidgey then fell to the ground and fainted. "Huh good strategy, but you won't win that easily...." Falkner said as he returned Pidgey he then called out Pidgeotto.
