I'm guilty of rarely posting and usually only post here to share my own art. I do this because I'm a not very good artist and too insecure to post anywhere else. I'm comfortable on ph.

How can I critique others when I don't know what to suggest for improvement? Sometime I might know what to suggest, but I could be wrong, hurt feelings, or didn't understand the style. I'm still learning.

But I do comment on other people's art from time to time. I'm just not always looking at the club. And I don't see the point in constantly commenting "Omg! I love that!" or "That turned out awesome!". Chances are is that they already know it. Sometimes they might sound insecure about something, so I'll comment and reassure them it turned out well.

And I don't like when people say they're quitting the club and come back. You don't really have to say you're quitting, do you? Just start posting less, or if needed make a hiatus announcement. Or if you're leaving ph all together, then maybe you should post here to let us know. The reason is because it doesn't hurt to stop posting for days, weeks, months, and return without need of filling out the application again. I've seen this many times already. I just [personally] don't get it. :^

I say this all the time, but I see improvement in the art posted here. Keep up the great work everybody! 'w'

And Lizz, I'm trying out those brush settings

I often lurk through this club and I comment on things in my head often enough lol

Edit: And when I see someone downing their self or their art here because they don't like it or don't think they're a good artist, I often palpad them about it and try to get them thinking positive :^

@lunala

how to pixel anatomy 101 please-

@suiren

thats true tbh

some people said that they left, yet like 3 or 4 days later, they come back like they didn't leave in the first place :v i personally sometimes dont critique art because i'm scared that it's part of their style and they'll start yelling at me for it ;w;

@panta

if you search up 'wacom tablet properties' it should pop up

if you double click on it theres this whole window that pops up

there should be a double click space thing

@Yaya's child

Call 112, we need support-- Dunno, start with easy shapes - circles, sticks - and make clear line art later, when you're completely satisfied with it's shape?? :v

@Foxly
Yet again, bothered by limbs. Is it a part of style bc I feel stupid for taking a note to it every time..?

I've done a traditional sketch for Edge, gonna color in Krita/Medibang later

@ everyone

i have a better solution to all of this :3c
if you want a critique, state it in your post so that when people are looking through them they know whether to skip it or not. I'm gonna start trying to give more advice, and you can pp me as well if you don't want to show it here.

- - - -
anyway, i'll be doing redlines, hmu if you'd like one ' v '
[keep in mind i don't have the best anatomy either but i'll do my best ;;]

Earl? EARL?? DU BIST SATAN, OKOK

..white dotsies, whyy-- Gotta fix T-T Edge, be proud. Critique's welcome, all apart from shading/lightning. I've done it weird and awkward bc Earl looks like Satan (yk?), I associate Satan with strange things, so strange shadows lmao :p

Edit: There we go! <3

@ -hoot-

bc i can :vvv

@ lunala

one tip i have is to stick to using the same brush for shading as lineart !!
it looks off to me when you use a pen or marker tool when the lineart is pixely.

@ panta

it looks good so far !! <3

one suggestion i have about the anatomy isto make the body slightly bigger,
as the head is a bit bigger then the body

@Panta
Indeed the head is too big for the body but since it is a sketch it can be easily edited ! It looks neat so far ! ;u ;
@Lunala
//inhales Edgy/////////
