She snarled and continued pulling herself out of their grip, sending a distress signal to Colwyn.

Colwyn shot awake, hurriedly grabbing their cloak and rushing out the barn door, the fire snuffing out as they passed. They latched their cloak around their shoulders, running toward their sister.

Night looked back. She came towards them. "I heard that, girl." She said. Her voice had changed to a creepy, ghastly, smooth voice. Darkness and Star turned human, and Moon growled deep in her throat.
