"One batch done!" Adriana cries out as she pulls a cookie sheet from the oven. "That can go to Ty and Ember. There's a little kick I think they'll appreciate!"
Zaryia chokes on the leftover cookie dough she'd been shoveling into her mouth. "I feel it now!" she says as she yanks the milk out of the refrigerator and chugs it.
Adriana pulls the jug from her sister's grasp. "Don't do that! What kind should I make Shinkou and Yuma?"
"I have no idea!" the other girl answers. "Don't see why we couldn't just make chocolate chip cookies for everyone..."

Ember wakes briefly before sending a small flame into the air from a snore.
Adriana and Zariya quickly make up many more batches of cookies, wrapping them up on individual plates. They collapse onto separate beds near dawn.

Adriana wakes as the sun streams in through the window. "Zary, wake up!" She goes to the other bed and shakes her sister's shoulder. "We gotta deliver cookies!"
Zariya grumbles something incoherent (probably "Go away, I'm tryna sleep...") and pulls the covers over her head.
The other sighs. "Fine." She quickly redoes her messy braid, grabs a couple of plates of cookies, and goes to Ty and Ember's door. She knocks lightly. "Hello? Anyone there?"

"Cookies?!?" Ember's ears perk up, and she races out to the kitchen. With a flying leap, she's up on the table, nosing at her pile. "Could you unwrap this, please?"
Adriana nods, laughing. "Sure." She tears the plastic covering off, and within seconds, Ember is munching a cookie.
"This is really good!"
"Thank you, Ember."

Well, everyone that i meet is a friend, even if they seem to not be very nice or grumpy most of the time, i dont like being on anyone's bad side

Ember looks up at the two. "Whenever I get on someone's bad side, I usually end up running away or something," she says. "It's a problem... It happens a lot..."

Yea, especially when i know they could easily beat me up, i always had a fear around women, because i know they can get stronger and are more intelligent than males....

Adriana laughed. "I've never heard of that! I know Zariya is pretty strong, but I think my Speed's higher. Not sure about intelligence, though. I always seem to say the wrong things..."
