...This might sound silly and obvious, but have you tried changing your username to the "wrong" one you put on DigiHeroes?

(I don't know if it'll work, I'm just offering you a possible solution)

I checked my spelling before I got my egg I put one z in instead of 2 and fixed it before I hit reedeem if I didn't I would have been upset to since I can't change my username on here,and reading before you type is a good thing

Its rare I spell my name wrong. But it normally happens when i'm talking to someone. and I was talking to my dad. I hit enter looked at the screen and this is what it looked like.

Rare or not, the instructions clearly say to make sure it's correct and as you were distracted, you could've just waited until you were done.

Also, if you weren't looking at the screen, how can you know for sure the 'are you absolutely sure?' message didn't appear?

Not that hard. Just create a different account with another user (on digi not here).
Then this time, correctly put your name for the event.

Problem solved.
For example, log out and go to registration.
Pick a different Username and Password, and redo everything. Just don't screw up your name this time

FenneCake, I'm sorry to hear you made a mistake, but remember to take what you can from the most negative of situations. The event egg isn't particularly game-changing, you can either see it as a total loss and mope around for a while or you can see it as a sacrifice so you can learn from your mistake.

-Just remember, from now on, to take things more slowly.
-Words are not there to be aesthetically pleasing; read them so you know if you need to take precautions.
-Always double check something important and give it your full attention, you will be glad that you did.

One event egg is not the end of the world ;) At some point, almost all of us will store it away in our storage boxes and forget about it. Somewhat sad but true.
