Oichi was bored. She was sitting on a bench looking at her notebook. She didn't care what was happening around her. Flying, shape shifting was boring. She sat back at the bench, closing her eyes, thinking.

Luca tugged on Remy's neck. "Shadow's down, Rem." He said, his hair blowing in his face.

Remy turned around and stopped next to Shadow. "What seems to be the issue?" He asked, sliding Luca off his back.

Laura saw Shadow and quickly dove down beside her, turning into human form.

Remy sighed and looked at the sky in frustration. "Alright, child, but we can only wait for so long. The baton only guides in the night. Daylight disables its magic." He said, laying down.

Luca sat and leaned up against Remy. "What he's saying is that we'll give you some time to catch your breath, but we don't have that much time to waist." He said as he picked at a blade of grass.

Laura put a hand on Shadow's back. "You alright? Don't listen to them, I'll wait for you for however long you need." She said.

Laura looked angrily at Remy and Luca. "Are you just going to stand by while she's in pain? God, you two must have never had anyone you love if all you worry about is your stupid baton." She looked through her bag for her water bottle and handed it to Shadow.

Luca scoffed. "You don't even know, kid."

"How dare you even make assumptions about me like that, human scum. If you knew... You would not have just made that statement that you made." Remy snapped, laying his head down.

Laura sat next to Shadow and looked at the sky blankly. "Just tell me what's wrong, then I'll leave you alone." She said quietly.
