(Sorry, been really busy >_<)

Aurora woke up when Drake nudged her awake, unaware she had even fallen asleep. He nodded his head in the direction that everyone, except Paws, had gone to. She understood what he meant, noticing that Silar and Kayoko were missing. What happened while I was asleep? Should I stay here and wait for them? I wouldn't want to interrupt anything.

She decided to just sit and wait, like Paws had done. Drake sat on the ground next to her, keeping her company because he didn't want to leave her alone. Aurora looked up at the sky to pass the time, enjoying the beautiful scene that the sky created for them.

Drake woke with a start at a loud crash, starling him and putting his senses on high alert. He watched as Kayokonran off, unsheathing her sword as she did. That human never waits for anyone, she keeps rushing head first into possible trouble. That's why she was possessed in the first place. He then saw Silar and Nyx run off shortly afterwards, obviously to aid Kayoko. He stayed guard of the other two, Paws and Aurora, not wanting them to be alone as they were just waking up.

Eagle walked slowly towards them, he tucked his tail berween back legs. He stopped at a good distance between him and the others. He looked back to see if Christie was following. Guess nothe thought. Eagle showed no aggressiveness as he laid on his stomach and barked.

Christie watched in nervous as Eagle walked out from his hiding spot. She can clearly see what he was tryin to do. She bent down even closer to the ground not giving away that she was there.

Paws followed the others, she stopped right behind them. Then she focused her sight on a wolf who barked to get their intention. The wolf looked young maybe a few years older. He had his tail down, it show no agressive. But Paws waited for others to notice him. Paws had looked at the boy who swooped down from the skies. Paws looked around for his creature.

Hearing the bark, Silar turned around to face the sound, seeing a wolf he prepared to et into fighting stance until he noticed, it was not being aggressive. "Well before we move on it seems like we may have yet another meeting, Kayoko isn't that the same wolf from before? If so then that girl that was with it should also be nearby right?" Silar said, while resting his arm on the handle tip of his blade lazily. "Ahh when we get back though, since mother made lunch earlier, this time let father make dinner and with this many extra the extra meat won't go to waste." Silar said in a teasing tone to Kayoko.

Nyx seeing that the shadow she noticed earlier was a friendly wolf, she continued watching over the area for anything truly dangerous to Silar and the others. Oh my, it seems Silar is being a bit more direct with his methods though maybe a bit too much if you ask me.

"Yeah." Kayoko replied, looking at the wolf. She had her sword sheathed, but she didn't get her guard down. It didn't seem to want to fight so she stopped her suspicions and replied "Dinner? If you want to prepare the meal that's fine by me." she replied. She wondered about the girl that owned the wolf, and if she was around, was she listening to their conversation? She noticed Khaalida wasn't coming out of her hiding spot, she let out a sigh then said "It's safe to come out bush-girl." referring to Khaalida. Why didn't she come out earlier? She's a strange one all right.. she thought to herself, before snapping back to reality.

Erin noticed a wolf nearby, it didn't look aggressive so he didn't attack it. He then looked around, did it have an owner or was it wild? Surely it would've been wired up more if it was wild, he tossed the thought aside and looked over at Fawkes, who was laying down on the ground, bored out of his mind. Erin couldn't blame him, he then listened to Silar tease Kayoko. He decided to let that go and think more about dinner. His stomach grumbled, and Fawkes rumbled. Which seemed like a laugh, he noticed Kayoko grinning too. "What's for dinner anyways?" he asked the twosome.

Eagle came closer by a few steps.He stopped and perked his ears forward interested. Looking back from he came from and back again, he sprinted back towards Christie and tried to nudge her out. They wont hurt you. he thought. She tried stop her but it was to late.

Christie tumbled over and looked at them, hoping that she wasn't seen, "Really" Christie whisper to the wolf, she looked back at the group, She slowly got up and followed the wolf back.

"Well who might you be?" Silar asked to the girl that was obviously pushed forward by the wolf. "We met earlier but because of the situation we really didn't speak." Feeling a little sad that Kayoko seemed to ignore his teasing, he let it go as he said, "really, well then look forward to the taste then and were having Liger and Elkrin meat stew." He had found a few more plants and some vegetables earlier and put them in his bag, he didn't expect to use them so soon, though he now has to carve out a pot and some bowls for everyone to use. "With this many people i think we should be fine," with having said that he issued a loud whistle, shortly thereafter Nyx appeared coming Silar's shadow. Nyx this is Erin and, oh i didn't get your friends name Erin."

Nyx waited and watched, when she heard the whistle she immediately moved from the tree to Silar's shadow, moving in stealth the entire time. Stepping from Silar's shadow she graciously bowed her head in greeting to Erin and the dragon. Hello friend i am Nyx, What title do you go by?

"We have the time for stew?" Kayoko asked, surprised, she then rubbed her hands together "I'll work my magic then. Whip up some stew for everyone. Chef Kayoko Kandie at your service." she bowed. Clearly having her fun with everyone, she stopped bowing and then looked at Christie "Hey." she told her. She then decided to go back to Aurora and Paws, she hoped they stayed over there though. "I'm going to go back with Aurora and Paws, I'll meet you guys there." she walked off, heading in the direction Paws and Aurora were in.

Erin was looking forward to dinner, whoever was cooking it anyways, he wasn't sure. But that didn't change his hype. "Friend? The one in the bush? Her name's Khaalida. If you're talking about the girl with the two-tailed wolf, I don't know her, to be honest." he said to Silar. Which was true, he only knew Khaalida. He could put his trust in Kayoko and Silar, they seemed like good people. He looked over in Christie's direction and said "The name's Erin. Erin Jones, nice to meet you." he told her. Fawkes seemed to be communicating with Nyx, which was cool.

Fawkes opened a metallic eye and focused it on Nyx, he rumbled and clicked before he spoke "I go by Fawkes. You have a nice title yourself, is this your human there?" he craned his neck forward in the direction of Silar. Then stood up, almost hitting his head on a branch and made his way towards him, he nuzzled him and gave him a sniff then rumbled, then walked over to where he couldn't hit anyone and spread his feathery wings, which were very long. Then flapped them to give them a stretch.

(As have I... My family has been busy with various things and on Saturdays I have tournaments...)

Khaalida slowly stood up as she was being talked about by Erin. Thanks for blowing my cover... She took a couple steps forwards until she stood to the side but a little behind Erin in the light. "As Erin said, the name's Khaalida." She said as she glanced around at the various people she could see. I didn't realize there were so many of them... I guess there will be safety in numbers though... She pushed herself to smile slightly and she held her dual ended staff to her side in a relaxed position. She smiled genuinely as she saw Zmaj's head next to hers.

Zmaj followed Khaalida's example and stepped forwards slightly and held his head near Khaalida's. "Hello all. My title is Zmaj." He clicked and rumbled as his leathery wings folded and he leaned on the folded section to take some weight off of his legs and tail.

(I apologize for the shortness of this post as well, I didn't want to be too intrusive...)

"What magic, did you forget I'm cooking?" Silar called off to Kayoko as she left heading back to camp, he turned around, "greetings Khaalida, welcome to the group i guess. Hmmm so now with the addition of you three that makes seven of us total. Well follow me and we will also head back o the others." Taking point, Silar turned and headed in the direction Kayoko went earlier. "Hmmm Erin and Khaalida, could i trouble you and ask to borrow your dragons to help me make the preparations for dinner?" he asked the two, while walking.

~It's nice to meet you Zmaj and Fawkes, and yes that is my human. Is there a reason you ask?~ Nyx said curiously before following Silar.

Khaalida starts walking, but stays behind the person leading them. "Seven? Hmm, decent size group..." She stops and glances at Zmaj who seems to be eager to help and rumbles happily. "I guess. But I'd ask him, though it looks like he already wants to..." She smiles slightly as she continues walking and catches up to the man. "I'm sorry, but I didn't quite catch your name..." She asks in a calm manner.

Zmaj trails along right behind Khaalida, his steps making little sound. "Not a particular reason, is it wrong that I did ask?" He hears himself being talked about and him helping with the cooking. His tail lightly thumped the ground as he let out a pleased rumble. I'd love to help! Cooking is quite relaxing! He thought to himself.

After a while Aurora heard the soft sound of footsteps on grass and turned her head to see who was walking towards them. It was Kayoko. She figured Silar and their familiars were slowly making their way back as well.

"Hey!" She called out, waving a little bit. "What happened out there?" She hoped Kayoko wouldn't mind her ponderings, but she was curious as to what made the crash and why they were gone for so long.

Drake turned his head at the notion of someone approaching, that someone being Kayoko, Dakota's human. He didn't see his four legged friends, but he figured they were still walking back from whatever made that loud noise earlier.

"Oh you didn't, sorry i thought you might have heard me from where you were watching earlier. My name is Silar." he said to Khaalida, then he reached into his bag and pulled out a plant. "hey Zmaj and Fawkes, if you wouldn't mind helping me with the preparations for dinner, then could i ask two things of you now? the first is if either of you know where i could find more of this plant. and the second would be if you could help me get a large tree with large leaves on it and bring it back to our current camp?" Silar held up the plant in his hands towards Zmaj and Fawkes.

~No you are fine, i was just curious if perhaps you noticed something about my human is all.~ Nyx said deliberately leaving a sense of mystery within her words.

Khaalida bowed her head slightly. "I've heard you now." She watches him speak to the two drakes and watches Zmaj's responses intently.

Zmaj nodded and looked to Fawkes. "I don't know of that plant, but I can bring the tree if you know of the plant..." He turned his large head to Nyx. "As of the moment I've seen nothing wrong with your human. But that's because I don't know his normal behaviors. Perhaps once I've gotten to know him better..."

(Once again, I apologize for the shortness of this. Sleep deprivation is not something to be ignored...)

{OOC; Sorry for being inactive! Writers block isn't fun, I was also busy with things..}

Kayoko replied "You'll see, just chill out until they come." she replied to Aurora with a sly grin. She then sat next to her and nudged her shoulder "Besides, I wanna have some fun with my girlfriend, y'know?" she added. She wondered when the group was coming back, Oh well, they'll get here when they get here. she thought to herself before asking Aurora a question "Hey, Aurora, what are you're thoughts on this place?" she asked. She didn't know what response she was going to get, she heard loud footsteps, probably coming from the two Rune Drakes. "They must be getting close." she said standing up and stretching.

Dakota sat next to Kayoko and put his head on her lap, "Until they come she says." he barked. "Must be talking about the newcomers.." he sighed. "Speaking of them coming back, I'm hungry. Who's cooking?" he asked any nearby creature. He didn't want to do anything with an empty stomach. He heard loud footsteps "Ugh. Those Rune Drakes are making an awful lot of noise, scaring nearby prey." he growled. Kayoko pet his head and he folded his ears back, she then stood up and Dakota did the same. Perking his ears up listening.

Erin looked over at Fawkes, who seemed ready to help. "He looks like he wants to help, I don't mind. What does the plant look like though? Don't just send Fawkes into the woods without a description. Unless you want the food to get cold." he said to Silar. It could be any plant.. he thought, Maybe it's herb for the stew.. unless he needs seasoning for the meat. he wondered. He liked cooking, he noticed Kayoko had a passion as well. He saw the determination in her eyes, speaking of Kayoko he wondered where the hell she ran off too. He heard talking in the distance. Looks like we're getting close. he thought once more, food on his mind.

Fawkes chirped to Zmaj "Why're you giving me the difficult task? I might know it, I need to know what it looks like first. Most likely a herb though, Silar friend doesn't want inedible plants in his food, make people sick. But get the tree, you can have easy task." he wanted to flap his wings, looking for the plant will give him the time to stretch his wings, he was getting sick of being on the ground.

Holding up the plant that had four leaves of 2 inches each and a line of sliver down each leaf spotted with blue dots, Silar said to Erin, "well yeah i could describe the plant but i figured they could find it better with the smell since dragons have a much better sense of smell than we do." Passing the plant to Erin he added, "if you smell it you won't smell anything thats how faint it is only those with good scent receptors can smell it, like Dakota, Zmaj and Fawkes. This plant is also a treasure as it has multiple uses." Closing in on their camp Silar explained about the plant a bit, i wonder why Kayoko left on her own, i hope she's alright. I hope those dragons will be able to find the things quickly i can imagine Dakota is rather hungry by now. He thought to himself

Nyx followed along silently listening to everything around then asked Fawkes ~you seem rather restless, are you eager to help?~

Fawkes replied "I'm eager to get off the ground, being on the ground too long is like being cooped up in a closed off cave. I also want to stretch my wings, but since Silar is done explaining I'll be off." Fawkes sniffed the plant and flew off in search of the plant Silar described, he flew low to the ground so he could spot it but not too low that'd he crash into a tree. He rumbled and clicked and landed rather far from Silar and the group "I found some." he chirped triumphantly he then grabbed a mouthful, which was an awful lot and flew back to the group. He then spotted the Kayoko girl and landed and opened his mouth to let out the large pile of herb. Kayoko raised an eyebrow then put one in her mouth and nodded with approval then stroked his scales "Good job." she praised him. He blew fire into the air, celebrating his victory. Though he hit a nearby wild Griffin and sent it crashing. "Whoops!"

Kayoko noticed Fawkes flying this way "Oh?" she said as he landed and released a pile of herbs down on the ground. She picked one up and ate it, it would help with the cooking she nodded at Fawkes and praised him for doing a good job. Though she was shocked when he knocked a Griffin out of the sky, she then burst out into fitful laughter.

Erin listened to what Silar had to say "Kay." he replied "Search Fawkes." he said and his Rune Drake sniffed the plant and flew off "He'll probably return it to the camp you mentioned." he suggested. He noticed Silar's mind was elsewhere and asked "What's on your mind?"

Dakota's stomach rumbled then noticed Fawkes come down with a large pile of herbs, he winced at the smell, it was too strong. He noticed Kayoko praise the Drake and couldn't help but feel jealous. He knew Kayoko was loyal to him, but he wanted some praise too. He kept the thought to himself, and set him mind of the food. His mouth watering.

"Hmmm ah i was just thinking about Kayoko." Silar answered. "at the same time i hope it won't take long for Zmaj to get the tree, after all what's going to take the most time is carving and preparing the pot and bowls, might have to have Nyx get some fish to grill to hold everyone over."

Nyx watching Fawkes fly off suddenly drew her attention to Silar when he mentioned her getting some fish, that sounds like a good idea since it will take time to make everything for the stew. Without directly being asked and not waiting for Silar she immediately ran off ahead towards the lake to gather some fish. not taking long to get them she returned to Kayoko and made a display of holding fish in her mouth over the now dead fireplace as if trying to tell her what Silar wanted to do with charades.

"Oh. I see.." Erin nudged Silar on the shoulder, referring to him thinking about Kayoko. "How's that working out for you?" he grinned nudging him one more time. "And what're you going to carve the bowls with? I personally don't want to use my weapon for that. Mainly for kicking ass, but that's one thing." he said. "Not a big sea food fan. I'll stick with apples." he pulled one out of nowhere "Glad I got one from that apple tree." he took a bite.

Kayoko looked at Nyx with her fish "Good job Nyx." she said with a smile then scratched her chin gently. She then walked over to Dakota and gave him a hug "Hey Dakota." she said and then sighed "I wonder..." she thought out loud. "Hmm.. I guess I'll just share the info when everyone gets back." she said once more.

They? I wonder...did they run into any more people?! That would explain why they were gone for so long, and if their creature didn't land softly enough that could explain the crash sound earlier! Unless I'm thinking too far into this.. Aurora hoped she was right in her thoughts about what Kayoko meant by "they" and her grin. She was a bit confused when Kayoko nudged her, as she had no idea what the girl was insinuating.

"Ah that is a tough question...I think it has it's pros, like the friendly creatures that i don't think are back home and the scenery is lovely, but it's way too mysterious for me, ya know? Like the fact that some creatures can possess you, and the reason we came here." She had never really thought about her opinion of the place they were in, just that they were there and needed to go home. Then she heard loud footsteps and Kayoko say "they must be close", adding to her guess that more people and their familiars had joined them on their quest.

After a little while a Rune Drake flew overhead, landed near then, and dropped a pile of herbs on the ground. Kayoko took one and ate it, a sign they were the edible kind of plant. Then she nodded at the dragon and laughed as the said creature blew fire onto an unaware griffin in the sky, causing it to fall down from the sky. Not long afterwards, Nyx ran to them with fish in her mouth. She stood above the now dead fireplace, as if signaling to that that they were to cook the fish for a meal.

Drake was curious as to who the newcomers were that Dakota mentioned so he asked, "We have new humans and creatures in our group now? What are they like?" At the mention that the wolf was hungry, Drake gave off a slight chuckle before he replied, "I am unsure, though I am guessing it won't be anyone here. You'll have to wait for Silar or the other humans to do it." Ah, Rune Drakes Huh? That adds to the diversity of our group, and with three creatures that can fly it could prove helpful.

The griffin was curious to meet the two Rune Drakes, and could hear their loud footsteps from the camp. Then, as if on cue, a Drake flew by, landing nearby, and dropped off some herbs, obviously to aid in their cooking. The griffin felt a bit bad for one of his own as it was hit by fire from the dragon and sent crashing to the ground.

Then Nyx appeared, carrying fish in her mouth and walking toward the burnt out fireplace. It was part of their meal, he figured. Without needing to be asked, Drake walked over to the fireplace and blew fire on the wood, bringing flames to life as they consumed the wood. "There, now we can start cooking your fish, Nyx."
