{OOC: sorry everyone been busy but I'll make up for everything with this post.}

Hearing Aurora's words, Silar got up and turned in the direction she pointed. "At this point i would say lets go and see whats going on but Aurora I'll have to ask you to stay here and watch over sleeping beauty there." he gestured to the sleeping Paws. "I'll be quick", he said as he headed off into the forest after Kayoko, while running He let out a long whistle calling for Nyx, noticing a shadow shortly thereafter in the trees, "Nyx head back to that camp spot and keep an eye on the other two, I'll be back shortly." watching the shadow turn around Silar felt a bit more at ease, he couldn't hep but feel like something bad was going on. Traveling a short ways further Silar way suprised at what he saw, there was Kayoko standing there in a daze almost with her sword drawn and opposite her was another girl with a wolf. He speed up to get to Kayoko and as the wolf charged towards her Silar stepped in the way at the last second, blocking the wolf with his sheath and pushing it back towards the other girl. "Who are you and why are you attacking my friend? Kayoko are you alright?", feeling an indescribable chill coming from her , Silar jumped back a bit then carefully watched Kayoko. "Kayoko are you alright?" he asked again unsure of what that feeling was.

Nyx, travelling at high speed heard Silars whistle and ruched towards him. Upon nearing him , she heard his request, and though she found it odd she still complied, turning back she went straight back to the previous camp. Upon arriving rather than directly showing herself she stopped atop a high branch near the edge of the clearing overlooking the entire area. Now i see why he asked me to come watch over these two, Nyx thought to herself as she saw one of the two girls sleeping and the other keeping watch but, still practicing her bagmaking, what really made her understand Silar's thoughts was the fact that there were only these two here, the griffin, the sleiphner and even Dakota were not present, if something were to attack having her watch them was a good idea.

Khaalida groaned as she opened her eyes to a very unfamiliar sky. It was a dark brown. She sat up and immediately regretted doing so as white hot pain stung her shoulder. She hissed through her teeth as she saw the caked blood on her slightly ripped shirt. She looked around the odd environment and realized that she was in a hollow in a tree. She smiled slightly as she also figured out that Zmaj had brought her here. But for how long had she been out? Minutes, hours, days or weeks. She had no idea. She used the wall of the hollow to stand up, her head was pounding as she got to her feet. She shuffled over to the opening and looked out. If she could get down onto the branch that was just below the opening she could see everything better. She began to crawl out when she felt something around her waist pick her up and set her right back where she was next to Zmaj. He had used his tail to pull her back and lay her down. She smiled as she laid down next to him. She had been very lucky for him to have discovered her and for him to have taken an interest in not eating her.

Zmaj awoke to find that his human had gotten up and was trying to get out. He let out a slightly annoyed rumble and grasped her by her waist with his tail, pulling her back in and gently laying her down next to him. You need to rest... That's going to hurt worse if you don't... I did my best to make sure this place was warm and soft...

Kayoko smiled "Yeah. I'm fine." she said putting both hands in her pockets, then that smile faded and turned into an evil smile, and gaze as she unsheathed her knife in her pocket in attempt to gut Silar, she missed by a few inches and hit the tree trunk "Stupid vessel.. she's fighting back.." Kayoko said, the voice not hers but foreign, alien. She unsheathed her sword, as a purple aura radiated from her, power she did not possess. Get out of my body! her real thoughts flooded her mind, and in a violent attempt to loose the wisps concentration. "Didn't expect this pretty boy? Well.. I better fill you in dear, I'm not you're friend. Though, this hunk of junk is putting up quite a fight.. even though she's possessed.. be warned, this won't be the first encounter with us! We will kill you and this pretty girl here.. along with you're useless friends.. we know why you're here, and we won't let you go that easily.. this is just the beginning!! I don't think you'd hurt you're pretty girlfriend here, right?" she cackled wickedly, getting into her offensive stance, ready to spring like a tiger about to kill it's cornered prey. She held her murderous gaze, enjoying the words she didn't mean that continued to spew from her mouth.

Erin and Fawkes flew in the sky, his Drake then seemed distracted all of the sudden and flew down "Aye!" he yelped as he dove and landed violently against the earth. He almost fell off the dragon until he noticed what it was staring at, a staff "This must belong to someone.. you thinking what I'm thinking?" he asked Fawkes. Fawkes looked ready to go, a mission in progress "Hey Fawkes? Can you sniff it and try and find the owner?" he asked, it looked offended "Right.. right.. not a dog.." the Drake sniffed it anyways. "Alright." Erin said and hopped back on the beast the staff gripped tightly in his hands. "Lead the way Fawkes." he announced his beast flying off, yet again. This time, with a goal in mind.

Fawkes somehow saw a glittered on the ground, Drakes liked shiny things. He dove for the sparkly the passenger yelping from the sudden change of heart, once he landed he approached the sparkly and poked it with a talon. His master, Erin seemed to notice what he was looking at. Formidable ally.. he thought proudly, this boy radiated power, raw talent from the looks of it. He wanted a powerful ally, a friend and he got what he was hoping for. Once Erin hopped back on his back, he flew back up following the scent, stale but still traceable. Female.. female human.. he thought and sped up a bit.

"Alright, I'll stay here and guard her. Be safe looking for her!" Aurora called at the retreating form of Silar, in high hopes that he would be able to find Kayoko and bring her back. While he was away Aurora stopped her crafting, wanting her full attention to be in her surroundings since Drake was gone. Paws silently slept beside her, unaware of what was going on. "How lucky sometimes..." She trailed off, looking out around her at the trees, keeping watch.

So, this human was possessed. This is not good. The griffin thought as he listened to the monologue of the purple blob creature through her. In an inturuption to 'her' speech, Drake flew down next to Silar, willing to aid him if she attacked again with her sword. The griffin, if Silar needed, could either help him dodge by flight or stop her in her tracks with a fire wall or just fire in general.

After a rest Khaalida woke up, her shoulder still hurt a great deal, but it didn't hurt as badly. She sat up and slowly stretched her arm and groaned as the muscles loosened. She patted Zmaj's nose as he sniffed her injured arm. "I'm alright..." She looked around the little den. "M-my weapon! Oh no..." She pushed herself up and walked around looking for her staff. "I left it at the river... Zmaj, can you take me back there?" She stepped back as the great lizard moved and stood up to his full height making him easily twice as tall as her. "M-maybe I could ride on your back? Instead of in your claws?" She smiled as he lowered his neck and she slid on his broad shoulders. She shut her eyes as he leapt out of the hollow and she clung tightly to his back. She finally got up the courage to open her eyes. "Wow!" She smiled broadly and loved the feeling of the wind whipping through her long black hair. "Alright, back to the river!" She called out over the roaring wind.

Zmaj opened his golden eyes at the sound of groaning from Khaalida. He sniffed at her arm to see what she's doing. Why do you cause yourself pain Khaalida? Does it not hurt? He smiled a reptilian grin as she got up and began walking around. She's walking, so that's good... He tilted his head as he realized what she wanted him to do. He stood up and stretched out his long spine and moved over to the entrance. You want to ride me instead of me carry you? Are you concerned I shall drop you? Well, if you'd prefer it that way. He lowered his head and watched as she climbed up. Once she had gotten settled he took off out of the hollow and began flying towards the stream.

Erin rubbed Fawkes "Maybe we should stop here. I have a feeling the person is coming back for their weapon, if you know what I mean." he told his comrade. Fawkes seemed to understand and landed on the ground. Erin got off and sat underneath a tree he looked at the staff then sat it next to him, Fawkes laid down, folding his wings and curling his tail around his body. Erin relaxed a bit, but just enough to feel comfortable. I hope the person is looking for the staff.. they must be worried. he thought to himself and closed his eyes, deciding to take a quick nap.

Fawkes listened to Erin and landed, he let his partner hop off and kept a look out while he was resting. He laid down, keeping his metallic eyes open and his "ears" open. He forked his tongue like a snake and kept a hostile gaze on everything else, he could die, this human could not. He didn't want anything bad to happen while Erin was he resting. He heard a pit patter, the sound of wings. Erin either didn't seem to care or didn't know of this sound because he continued to rest. Fawkes stayed on high alert, it didn't seem like the sound of Griffin wings. Another Rune Drake? he thought to himself.

Khaalida held on tightly to Zmaj as he flew. She gripped tighter as he suddenly dove down. She lost her grip on him as he landed roughly. She looked up from the ground and saw a boy napping and another Rune Drake watching over him. The boy had her staff! Khaalida went to push herself up, but did so with her bad arm so she collapsed back onto the ground hissing in pain. Idiot... She yelled at herself mentally. Zmaj lifted her up to her feet and she stared at the boy. "I do believe you have something of mine..." Her voice was calm, but had little emotion in it.

Zmaj got wind of her weapon and something else. A human... And another Drake... He dove down through a small opening in the canopy and landed roughly, causing Khaalida to fall. Oops... He used his tail to pick her up to her feet as she addressed the boy. His golden eyes locked onto those of the other Rune Drake's. "Well, good afternoon." Zmaj rumbled and clicked to the other of his kind.

Erin opened one eye "Oh.. this is yours? Here." he picked it up and tossed it to her, expecting her to catch it. "I wasn't going to keep it anyways.. so don't expect me to steal it." he added. Opening his other eye he stood up and stretched. Fawkes seemed to be communicating with the other dragon, "So.. I'm Erin, what's yours?" he asked Khaalida causally, not intimidated by her having her signature weapon back in her hands. He didn't keep a gaze on her just in case she pulling any stunts.

Fawkes noticed the other Drake and made sounds which sounded like clicking and whirring. "Salutations." he then began to rumble "I see your human found her sparkly. My human calls me Fawkes, what's you're title?" he asked causally sitting up and ruffling his feathers on his wings then began to pick at his wings, like a bird. Then stopped and waited for a response.

Khaalida raised her good arm and deftly caught the staff and spun it to rest it under her arm. "Thanks for picking it up for me." She said in the same sort of voice. "Khaalida." She glanced to Zmaj who was rumbling and clicking. "Our friends seem to be doing the same thing we are..." She said in a sort of distracted way as she listened to her companion. I wonder if this guy remembers anything or knows why we're here...

Zmaj stretched his leathery wings letting the dappled sunlight warm his wings. "Fawkes, a pretty title. Zmaj is what my Khaalida has decided to call me. What were you doing with my Khaalida's sparkly?" His tail swept the ground behind him and his claws opened and closed ripping at the ground in a slow mindful way.

Erin laughed then said "I suppose so, yes. Nice to meet you Khaalida." he then looked around the area then focused his gaze back to Khaalida "You seem distracted, spill it out." he demanded. "Unless it's personal. In that case.." he stopped talking and sighed. "You know what I mean." he sounded bored, then walked back over to the tree and began climbing it, he reached the top and plucked an apple off the tree and took a bite out of it. He then leaned back and relaxed in the tree.

"Amazing title." Fawkes replied. "And, we found it by this river here. And Erin had the intentions to find who it belonged to, he suggested we wait here after we flew far enough. So we landed, waiting for the owner to come and claim the sparkly." he replied with clicking. He watched Erin enjoy himself in the tree. He was happy when his partner dropped an apple in his mouth, so he opened his mouth and caught it. He ate it in one bite and licked his lips.

Khaalida turned sharply to the rather forwards boy. "Well, I wake up in a strange land no idea what I'm doing here or where I came from before, and I discover creatures I didn't know I didn't know existed." She sounds as though she's tired. "You're the only human that I've come across that I've actually talked to. I saw a group a day or two ago, but I didn't approach them..." She took a step towards the tree and stared up through the branches at the b... Erin. "How did you come to be here?"

"Well, that was very generous of your human to do that." Zmaj followed Khaalida's gaze up the tree. My human was attacked by a Griffon... It's claws damaged her limb. I don't know much of the art of healing, do you or your human have this knowledge?" Zmaj tilted his large head folding his wings and setting the few clawed digits on the ground to steady himself as he awaited a reply.

"Oh, that happened to me too. But I don't mind this place, so I'm not too worried." Erin told Khaalida "You seem tired, rest. Me, Fawkes and you're dragon will keep a lookout." he replied with a grin then said "Just like you, woke up with no memories.. just my name though. I had a weapon by my side and befriended Fawkes here." he said, referring to his Rune Drake.

"He's a nice human. And a strong one as well. That's not good Zmaj friend, we can help. Or we can at least give it our best shot, Phoenix tears heal wounds so let me at her." Fawkes said, clicking and whirring, he lashed his tail and ruffled his feathers eagerly. He wanted to help, he also felt good that he could be of use.

Khaalida smiled slightly, actually feeling that she could trust this person. "I am rather tired... My shoulder is killing me, and likely will if I don't get it treated..." She reached up and lightly touched her damp shirt, her fingers coming away red. She winced and sighed before looking at Zmaj who had picked her up on his wing. "Zmaj, what are you doing?" She asked surprised as he walked her towards the Phoenix.

"He does seem to be kind. I did hear of that, if you'd like to try..." Zmaj let out a deep rumble and a few clicks as he gently scooped Khaalida up in his wing and walked her to Fawkes so he can try to help her. "Are you sure that it will work? Will it cause her more pain?" Zmaj asked as he stopped and pulled her a little closer to him protectively.

Fawkes rumbled "Chill out. I know what I'm doing." he replied to Zmaj and approached Khaalida, he let a tear drip from his face and dap onto her wound in an attempt to heal her. He watched the wound close up, and scab then heal entirely. He let out a triumphant roar, "Success!" he roared, he lashed his tail happily then walked back to his spot. "See no worries Zmaj friend." he clicked back to his new friend.

Erin watched the wound close up and whistled "Wow. That's something.." he then almost fell out of the tree, he caught himself and pulled himself up, he finished his apple and gave Fawkes the rest of it. Then plucked one and tossed it to Khaalida "I don't know if you can climb trees or not, but here." he then stretched. "You want an apple?" he asked Khaalida's dragon friend.

Khaalida looked down to her shoulder and she watched, mouth slightly open at the sight of the wound healing. "Oh my..." She looked up to Fawkes and smiled. "Thank you so much!" She smiled and slid off of Zmaj's wing. Once her feet hit the ground she stretched out her shoulder feeling no pain. "Wow... That's an impressive feature!" She grinned at Fawkes and looked up to Erin just in time to see an apple flying at her. She caught it with her previously bad arm. "Thanks for the apple... I haven't really eaten anything since I got here..." She bit into the apple and smiled as Zmaj stepped forwards and nuzzled her with his huge head.

Zmaj's golden eyes observed her wound heal up very quickly and Khaalida get up as though nothing was wrong. He lifted his head and chirped his thanks to Fawkes. "Thank you Fawkes! A very good friend indeed are you." He stepped forwards and gently nudged Khaalida with his head, glad that she's not injured anymore. His attention turned to the boy in the tree as it sounded like he was being addressed. Zmaj let out another chirp as his tail beat the ground lightly in response. "An apple? If you're offering to toss me one human of Fawkes..."

Erin grinned "Here." he tossed Zmaj an apple "Then eat up. I'll probably go hunting later." he told Khaalida. "Glad you're not in pain though, one it hurts. Two I didn't want to carry you around the world." he said jokingly. Fawkes seemed to reply to Zmaj's response, he was glad to find Khaalida, he was also glad he wasn't the only person here. It would be lonely if it wasn't for Fawkes and Khaalida. He knew that Khaalida might not stick along, but he decided to do as much as possible before she said her goodbyes. His mind seemed elsewhere to Fawkes's surprise, he was usually chill about everything. Or very passionate about things, doing them in a fiery blaze.

Fawkes stood tall and radiant, impressed with his own work. He clicked You're welcome you two. then licked Khaalida with his forked tongue. He then stopped and clicked I'm going hunting, I'll be back." he unraveled his wings and spread them, then flew off. He flew for a while until he spot some Elkrin not far from his location, he landed as silent as possible and looked for a sick, injured or young one to take down.

Khaalida giggled at the sensation of being licked, she turned and gently scratched the side of Fawke's head before he flew off. "Yeah, I wouldn't have wanted to be a real burden to anyone... I really appreciate what your friend did for me." She rubbed her shoulder with a slight smile. "Could I join you in the hunt? Now that I'm not injured I'm decently agile and for some reason, skilled with my staff." She walked over to Zmaj who had laid down and she sat next to his tail, which he moved to wrap around her, like a protective arm over the shoulders. She bit into the apple again and giggled once more as Zmaj breathed on the back of her neck. "Do you have a shelter where you sleep yet Erin?"

Zmaj bowed his head to Fawkes before he flew off and watched his newly made friend fly off. Zmaj turned and walked over under a nearby tree and curled up, his wings tucked neatly over his back. He watched Khaalida walk over and sit next to him. These beings are kind souls, they shall be valuable allies... And will help me to keep you safe... He thought to himself as he wrapped his tail around her legs and he sniffed the back of her neck imprinting her scent in the back of his mind if she ever got lost.

Startled by the sudden stab action, Silar sidestepped the on coming knife, taking several steps back. Being surprised at the words from Kayoko's mouth Silar quickly regained his composure, so this thing knows why we're here? Maybe I can get some answers from it then while i try to figure out how to get it out of Kayoko. "Oh really, there are a number of things we're here for, so what exactly are you going to try and stop us from doing?" He said in an attempt to slip the creature possessing Kayoko up. Seeing Drake by his side he could guess what he was intending, "Drake it's alright i can handle this."

Nyx, still watching the surroundings and the girls, was worried but kept vigilant and trusted her partner would be safe.

Kayoko raised an eyebrow "You SERIOUSLY don't you why you're here? Like I'd tell you. Earth is interesting! Humans are amusing! This makes things more fun, now that Animus sent you here! But, since I told you that, it's going to make things harder. Animus is hard to find, and ONLY shows his face when he wants to be found... Animus is playing a dangerous game with your lives. I can tell you that much." she spat. "This human is getting restless, and I'm losing control of my vessel. I'll see you in the near future Silar!" the purple hue disappeared and left Kayoko, it floated above her head. It took form of a Rune Drake and roared, then flew off. Kayoko, now back in her own body, was lightheaded and her mouth stung from talking. She leaned on the tree and took her dagger back and threw it on the ground, she sat down and closed her eyes "I'm tired.. I'll be back.." she fell asleep.

Dakota found Silar and Drake, he noticed Kayoko and ran over to her he licked her face and laid down on her lap. "I'm sorry Kayoko.. I wasn't fast enough.." he barked, his ears drooped. I knew something was wrong.. and it's only going to get worse.. I have bad feeling that these human's aren't staying with us for much longer. he thought sadly.

"You are many things Khaalida, and you're not a burden." Erin told her and plucked another apple from the tree and looked into it's reflective surface, he sighed he threw it up into the air. A griffin that was flying by caught it and continued on it's merry way "Huh." Erin mused at the sight. "Yeah you can join Khaalida. The more people the better. And, I legit just got her like, two hours ago and you expect me to build a shelter?" he laughed, then fell off the tree. He hit the ground and sighed "Whoops" he said and stood up slowly "I'm okay." he added and stretched, popping his back.

Fawkes locked his gaze on a female which seemed to be wounded from a previous predator's hunt. He then got a little bit closer before it darted then he flew up and flapped his wings. He tackled the Elkrin and clamped his jaws around it's neck and gave it a twist, when it was dead he sniffed it. He then looked at the infected wound on the Elkrin and healed it, to be sure not to get sick when he gives it to the humans. He then grabbed it by the waist and flew back to Erin. He landed then he found them and dropped the game he caught.

Khaalida chuckled as he told her she wasn't a burden, she found it amusing as he barely knew her. "Well, a shelter is sorta important..." She smirks but her smirk disappears as Erin falls from the tree and hits the ground. She took a few steps over to him but stopped as he said he was fine. "That looked like it hurt..." She looks up into the tree then back down to him. "I didn't get enough time to build a decent shelter, but my friend Zmaj has a hollow that was spacious enough..." She turns to Zmaj who was curled under a tree still. "If he'd allow it..."

Zmaj watched the human titled Erin fall out of the tree. Clumsy. He laid his head back down before looking at Khaalida. He lets out a chirp and a rumble, along with a nod of his head. "I trust these beings, so of course I shall offer my home to them if they need a place to rest." He turned to Fawkes who had just returned with a kill. "Nice kill friend Fawkes." He clicks.
