Keket spun around and stared at Riley, who had followed her.
"Riley! My gods... I'm going to have a heart attack one of these
days..." She set down the bitten part of the berry. "Its my home. I
made it. I'm sorry you don't like it." She walks around the room
slowly. "It took me a while to get these mushrooms to live here...
I had to control the amount of decay that occurred so the tree
wouldn't topple. I guess one could say that I've kept the tree in a
frozen state. It doesn't decay without my wanting it too... Its the
one thing I find I can find comfort in..." She turns to Riley.
Keket's expression went from slightly annoyed that he simply walked
in without permission, to serious anger. "Why did you do that!?
This is my home! I take care of it! I made it! You have no right to
simply go around stopping time like that! Put it back!" The
raspberry on the table decayed rapidly, becoming a mound of grey
mush. The room begins to be filled with a black smoke that makes it
grow darker.
Keket walks over to the table and waves her arm, causing the room
to be completely filled with darkness. No eye can see through it.
It is as dark as a cloudy, moonless night in a thick forest. No
light can be seen. "Why? Why did you follow me? Why do you plague
me time tinkerer?" Her voice seems to be coming from everywhere.
Riley can feel something very cold pass by behind him.
Riley: I consider you a friend, You were distraught.
*Riley snapped his fingers and time surrounded him*
Riley: Now I am technically immortal. No attack can harm me, and
nothing can reach me.
The blackness fades and the room returns to normal. Keket is flying
on the other side of the room facing him. "You... You consider
me... A friend?" She slowly lowers towards the ground.
