Durandal heard the challenge from the green Pokemon.
''What? I had enough of fighting for today!'' - he gave the Pokemon
a better look. Turns out, it was just a small Deerling. He feels
more confident in setting his rage loose now.
''...Fine. It that'll keep you away.'' - he said, expecting a
really easy fight.
Noko grinned, seeing the Pokemon's loose form. This won't be
easy. He noted the other Pokemon's type, hopefully getting it
right. Seems to be a steel type. What have I gotten myself
into?
To start, Noko spat the life-draining seeds on to the steel type,
then paused, waiting for the seeds to spread on the Pokemon's body.
The seeds root on Durandal's sheath.
''You are smarter than you look.'' - he said, while dropping down
his rooted sheath, and right after, swinging at the Pokemon with
his blade.
Noko was hit by the blade, but not before twisting so it did no
fatal damage. "Smart, maybe. Agile, eh, going for no." Noko
grinned. He stored up the bubbling energy inside of him, closing
his eyes to absorb the sun a little. He knew he was extremely
vulnerable during this period of time, but he felt an urge to use
the powerful attack.
''Gh. What?! Did you give up already? Why are you standing like
this?'' - Durandal gazed madly at his opponent and unleashed a stab
using his tarnished blade, with full force.
Noko was knocked back and pain sang in his left shoulder, where the
blade had sunk in. Looking up, he released the energy, pouring as
much as he could into the attack. (Honedge can survive this. X3
Solar Beam, Grass isn't very effective against steel)
Durandal gets knocked back quite a lot by the hit. It burned his
ghostly scarf a bit.
''...Perhaps I underestimated you. How did I not know about this
obvious trap?!'' - he blurted out.
He now knows that pure rage wouldn't solve this.
''Your attacks don't hurt me as much though. Fine. I will play your
game.'' - his blade shining brightly. Sword Dance, an attack that
heightens your attacking power, but leaves you vulnerable for some
time.
Noko jumps at the Pokemon, using his hind legs to push off. He
passed through the floating blade and startled, he realized that
the Pokemon must be a ghost type as well as a steel type. He shook
his head, as if to physically rid it of his confusion and aimed an
Energy Ball at the Pokemon, followed by a quick succession of Drain
Seed.
(Drain Seed - Leech Seed)
[Actually, I do accept being able to physically hit the blade, as
being invincible to every physical attack would be too OP for my
tastes. Physical attacks are still very weak against Honedge. The
eye and the ghostly scarf cannot be touched physically though.
Breaking the blade in half results in death, as it's just like the
Pokemon's torso. blah blah blah blah bla--]
[Still, I do accept a hit from it. Imagine if everyone had the
Scrappy ability. That's basically it. It's there to make my
character not overpowered. And also, Fish (the Espeon) hit my
character a couple of times with simple claw attacks, so I can't
break the rule now.]
Ivy lazily stretches and glances over to Fish. She decides to talk
to the Eevee, after all, she is lonely. Padding over, she smiles.
"Hi, I'm Ivy. What's your name?"
Violet begins to walk back to her cave, and lays down besides the
river, when she reaches it, watching the water swirl downstream.
She stands back up, and backs away from the river. She takes a
running start, and springs over half the river, and lands onto a
stone. She leaps again, and grabs the bank with her forepaws, and
hauls herself out. She glares at her wet fur in irritation Did I
need to do that? Whatever... I'll just dry off in the sun. Why
didn't I find a narrower place to cross?
Violet lays down in the sun, and dozes. The water quickly
evaporates from her fur, and she wakes up soon after, goes into her
den and eats a few berries, before walking off to find some more.
